GRADED: GRADED: Day in the life of Don Lorenzo! - crocodile kebab edition
#1
Who knew writing these would be so much fun! Here’s a day in my life, as Don Lorenzo!

Why did I say "as Don Lorenzo", who else could I possibly be? Ah, let’s begin, okay?

My alarm blares at 6:31 am, one minute later today. Me and my teammates were well rested after yesterday's match and we decided to make some breakfast in our room! Tank made some belgian waffles, which honestly were pretty solid! I enjoy putting syrup and whipped cream on mine, with some fruits on top! It was a little unhealthier than the rest, but hey, I could use a little extra weight for strength, okay?

After brushing my gold teeth, we all got ready and headed to the training field. We had our post match de-brief yesterday, and Kupinas was joining us for training today! We began practicing our new tactic, with players in new roles.

We also had a new friend join, Bartholomew-James Junior-Junior! A fun name, junior-junior rolls off the tongue, okay? I still had to put the clamps on him and my friends in training though!

We continue training until 11am, when we have a break. We do some conditioning and rehab for an hour, before lunch begins! Wasn’t anything special today, just some salads and some seasoned chicken. I sat with Narvaez as we discussed our partnership on the left side. I was moving from LCB to RCB in a new system, and we began to discuss ways to connect on counter attacks.

Afterwards we watched some Istanbul film, preparing for that big upcoming match. Afterwards, we had some free time, starting at around 2pm. In the locker room, Bobby Green and Kupinas began an fun ping pong battle, going back in forth in an entertaining three match series. Green took the first one, but Kupinas rallied back for the second and third. Our assistant coach even joined the spectators! I then did some more speed and weight drills, getting some extra workout reps in. Never hurts to be a bit more fit, okay?

Eventually, we got to the evening, and it was time for some fun! We planned a big team dinner together for a local restaurant in the area! The whole of the starting eleven went to the Wild Horizons lookout cafe, which was a nice and cozy restaurant. We bumped into a few fans there, and had some pictures taken!

Now, it was time to eat! Kupinas took one look at the menu and showed me something incredible, CROCODILE KEBABS! I mean, once you see that on the menu, you can’t NOT order it, okay? So we both got some for ourselves. Raiola meanwhile decided to enjoy some of the Zimbabwe beef cuts instead. Green tried some of the pork ribs, Junior-Junior went for a chicken tandoori wrap, and Denstro had a pesto chicken ciabatta!

The food was quite enjoyable, the crocodile kebabs tasted like chicken, okay? It also had a delicious curry sauce with them too. No one seemed disappointed with the food, but I was admittedly underwhelmed with my dark chocolate brownie, it wasn’t sweet enough for my liking.

Anyway, we got back home…and me and Kupinas didn’t feel so good. The crocodile seemingly fought back and gave us a rough night, okay? The players I roomed with got together to enjoy a movie, we picked Paddington 2. It’s fucking incredible, okay? A true masterpiece, it makes me want to be a better man.

I’m just rambling now, I went to sleep after to get ready for the next day of football! Later this week we face Istanbul! Watch out, we’re going to fly high! Surely we won’t lose and concede again!
