The recent match between União São Paulo and Schwarzwälder FV will go down as one of the most exciting matches this season. Schwarzwälder FV, last season’s championship winner, was defeated 2-0. Nerve de Groot has possibly made one of the most memorable plays in this league. An out of this world first goal by De Groot was scored under the 1st minute of the whistle blowing. This play would define the rest of the match as Schwarzwälder FV struggled to score. It too struggled with cards as well, racking up three yellows. Towards the end of the match, Chef Gagne scored in the 83rd minute, further solidifying União São Paulo’s victory. Despite a few close calls, União São Paulo came out on top and surpassed expectations. Practice and training has definitely improved the work of the offense and defense as both have shown their skills throughout the game. União São Paulo has had a great start coming into this season as they are now in second place in the league with a record of 2 wins, 2 ties, and no losses. Despite beating Schwarzwälder FV, however, they still remain in first. Only time will tell if União São Paulo can keep up the good work and rise to the top.
