Though K. Clamence is best known for his quiet nature off the field, exhibiting exuberance only during moments of climax on the pitch, he is privately quite energetic with those he trusts most. When recently signed Bud-Lite "Large Box" McGuirk (hereafter Large Box) was brought to London, Clamence was unsure what to make of the stocky player but time soon fertilized a beautiful friendship. In fact, it was several weeks ago that the two were seen outside a liberty gas station sharing sandwiches. Words could barely be heard according to passerby's but supposedly there was disappointment in the quality of the food. However, what was visible to those who saw the two, was that Clamence most certainly loves his new friend Large Box.
Further evidence of this love was recently demonstrated when they were seen walking through the mall, excitedly purchasing PS2 video games for a night of gaming. In each hand was also a 12 pack of cherry coke which they were heard murmuring "Campbell's only allowed one." While leaving the mall, a woman asked if either would like to buy jewelry for a loved one to which Large Box replied, "No thank you, my girlfriend just broke up with me." What Large Box's heart is missing in love, he is certainly filling with soda and sandwiches in that large frame, likely at 3am according to insiders.
Clamence's activities with Large Box are not entirely clear to those from the outside. There are random words yelled like "wet," perhaps exclaimed as warnings during downpours, yet they've also shouted such words during bright and sunny days. However confusing, though, Clamence's smile outshines such sunny days when the two exclaim such nonsense. And there is likely the truth of it. Clamence loves nonsense, which Large Box provides incessantly. Although the two are team mates in real life, Large Box even convinced Clamence to play in a simulation football league with him.
