The Story of Anthony Simmons
Born in Ireland to a loving family, Anthony Simmons was always athletic and loved sports, specifically Rugby and Football. Upon Anthony's family learning of his athleticism and his love of sports, he would be put into youth teams, Rugby would fall away and lead to his Football journey where he would become a natural midfielder. In his School days, Anthony would be on teams for the school and stand out wherever he played, either on defense or attacking, playing both Backline and Striker at points in school, however, his natural position was always in the midfield. Upon being informed he had a chance to go to an official academy, Anthony would work more in the midfield full time and either higher up or lower in the back of the midfield. Anthony did go through a period with an injury where he had doubts about his future in football, given that he had broken his leg and it was taking forever for him to recover. He had real doubts about ever playing again; however, upon recovering, he would take the ground running and become a hero in his school, being the first from the school to sign with an academy and have a true future in the sport.
