Sweeping winds and a change of tides in the SSL bring new challengers to the fold. Rapid Magyar SC have thrown down the gauntlet in the center of Budapest. After more than a century of competition in the highest levels of Europe, Rapid Magyar SC are looking to finally conquer the biggest competition of them all: the SSL.
Founded in S20 by @norththegreatestshowman, Rapid Magyar SC became one of many European sides to join the SSL. Situated in the Hungarian capital of Budapest, the team is the most eastern European team to date. It is one of the oldest teams in the world, with its prefix 'Rapid' dating back to its Austro-Hungarian origins. The Hungarian side finally ascended to the SSL at the start of its 20th season with the assistance and funds of its sister Majors team, Shanghai Dragons FC. Aiming to develop the talent that has been increasingly appearing in the eastern and south eastern side of Europe, Rapid Magyar SC is hoping to quickly make a name for themselves in the Minors league with their own personal flair.
The team plays in lavender (#a76df7), black (#000000) and white (#FFFFFF), showing off its flair and passion. Additionally, the third kit also features blue (#45A2CD) and yellow (#FFFE30). The logo features a patriarchal cross, a feature that is also seen on the Hungarian coat of arms. It is also adorned with laurels on the side, a reminder of the past achievements of this team. The logo and kits were designed by @Thunder39, under the vision and ideas of @norththegreatestshowman.
