After a well regarded career in the Pro Baseball Experience as a Pitcher for the Chicago Kingpins, Cancun Toros and New York Voyagers and a non-descript career in the SHL playing in the minors for a team of some description, Matt Stro makes his return to the simulation world with a debut upcoming in the academy leagues for Atletico Medellin.
From what I can gather the academy leagues seems to be of similar vein to the Prospects league in the PBE so I'll pay it some mind however I'm more so looking forward to entering the minor leagues of the Soccer Simulation League.
I would say that some drafters could be concerned that I went IA quite early on into my career in the SHL. I think that is a valid concern however with baseball I had been playing OOTP for quite a while before that and was enjoying baseball and similarly I have been playing Football Manager for many years and am a season ticket holder at my local football team, with hockey I never had that connection to the sport and meant that I didn't particularly get into the SHL.
In hindsight in terms of player creation, I probably should have made my player able to play both wings, oh well.
