I picked a major league team at random for this assignment as I know very little about this league so I am going fully off of my own read / gut feel. Now lets dig in!
The Sao Paulo squad currently consists of members fully from S16-S19. In additions their minor leagues have loads more from the same seasons. It does appear based on bank account balences though that some of the minors have gone IA or are not earning much to keep producing for the team long term.
A couple spots I think that they will target early are Striker and Goalie. Their striker position as it stands has just S18 create Julian Rubio with 1120 TPE. In the minors the only striker is S16 create Eric Belmont with 1039 TPE and both strikers have 0 balance in their bank account. A new striker or two that are active and earn well would be welcome additions to the Sao Paulo system as it would let them continue to build for many seasons to come. Currently there are 5 strikers in the academy that are S21 draft eligible. Black Leg Sanji and Zaza Banana are the top TPE strikers and both Mastersheep and DigDoug11 are active users in other sim leagues so would likely be welcome additions to the Sao Paulo locker room.
The next position we will look at it the goal keeper. Croney is an active user and as a S18 create he still has some gas in the tank. However the only keeper in Sao Paulos minor leagues is S8 create Patrick Carrigan. If they want to ensure continued success Goale is a position they may want to address. Flipping back over to our draft board there are 4 goalies and thus far all have been active in earning. Snor Lax and Maverick Jones both have 435 TPE one more then Chicken McTendie's 434 and bringing up the rear is Stun Gun Jr who still has 414 TPE of thier own. I personally know that I plan to be an active user and I know Ghamss is very active over in the SHL.
The last position I think that Sao Paulo may want to address in the attacking midfield. The issue is not the present but once again the future as they only have on AM in the minors and that is S15 create Vito Habjanič with only 881 TPE. Having less TPE despite being an earlier create then the attacking midfielders on the Majors team shows that depth could be an issue within a couple seasons. So to prevent that Sao Paulo should look to draft one of the AMs in the draft. RAM Allie Bunson and user Beave are active in the chats and Beavie is an SHL veteran who is very active in there as well. 434 TPE for Allie is tops at RAM. LAM has Tommy Moff at 433 TPE. And CAM Roy Rivers leads the way with 434 TPE. Any of these three would be great additions to the Sao Paulo squad and there are five others that also have earned over the initial 350 TPE.
As Sao Paulo currently sits at the top of the table with a 6 - 0 - 0 record it's quite possible they don't get a shot at any of the players mentioned above but clearly the managers behind USP have to know what they are doing. So with a little luck, or maybe a trade to get themselves in better position and they will continue to have reinforcements coming to assist the squad many seasons into the future.
