Season 3
#1
Two seasons removed from being selected 8th overall in the S18 SSL Draft by Schwarzwälder FV, German midfielder Cameron Millwall has made some serious steps forward in his progression as a professional football player. He has spent the two years with Schwarzwälder FV's minor league team, Montreal United. Using a lot of his first year in pro football to drastically improve his technical abilities with the ball, he then used the past 12 months to make some serious strides as an athlete. Millwall has become noticeably quicker, be it in full sprint or accelerating out of the stand still. That has had a noticeable effect on his statistical output in league play, which rose from one goal contribution in year 1 to five in year 2. Going forward, it's not going to be very likely that his output continues to grow in this type of fashion. However, even if he just manages to sustain it, that would be considered a success in my eyes. As a defensive midfielder, his chances to score or assist a goal are more limited in the engine. Therefore, anything is welcome and counts. In the minor league, Montreal should have another good season. The core stayed together and is eager to make another run at the championship.
