Mikko Rashford IV has started his SSL career in the academy playing for the Adowa Accra, a team based in the capital city of Ghana. Rashford IV is Zambian so Accra was probably the most familiar place to land in academy, although Africa is a large continent and Ghana is still very far. The first match of the season was against Jakarta who, much to young Rashford's surprise, have rostered his father, Mikko Rashford Sr. He had known that retired SSL players showed up in the academy to help train the youngsters, but surely he never expected to play against his own father. The game ended with both father and son contributing greatly. Senior scored a goal, and junior tallied two assists. In a great boost to his confidence, Accra trounced Jakarta and Rashford IV triumphed over his father in his first ever academy match. Rashford did not play so well in his second match, although the team did secure another resounding win. Accra seems like the team to beat, and a Rashford on form is a terrifying force that the academy and soon the minor leagues will have to contend with once again. Despite a weak second game, Rashford has shown promise and we hope to see his skills develop as the season progresses.

Short sweet and to the point, congratulations to Mikko Rashford IV

So a lot to unpack here. To get more from these articles I'd say draw them out longer and apply more details. As it stands whilst it's a comforting piece, a block paragraph isn't compelling to sift through and the details are sparse, but definitely a solid start and something to be happy about.
