First Clean Sheet
#1
Chicken McTendie had never been to Paris before being drafted here but as soon as he arrived, he fell in love with the city.
He loved the music, the croissants, the people, but more then anything his new teammates on his football team.
At his first practice he let everyone know how hard he’d been practicing by making save after save. He said I may look tall and fluffy, but I’ve got some fast feathers.
The season has gone well for Chicken McTendie so far overall. The first game he struggled a bit and the team dropped a 4-0 decision, but since that day it’s been tough to get a lot by him. Paris has rattled off 5 straight wins, with the latest being the first clean sheet of McTendie’s SSL career a 5-0 win over Atehnai F.C
As the teams warmed up for the latest game, Chicken McTendie flapped his wings and stretched his legs.
He waddled to the goal adjusted his extra wide goalie gloves and took a deep breath.
The whistle blew. Game on.
Paris started with the ball and after just over 8 minutes had passed McTendie stood with the ball at his feet. He passed it up the left sideline and the offense went down and buried it giving them a 1-0 lead.
Eric Belmont ended up with a hat trick prior to the half scoring at the 9, 32, and 38 minute marks. Jake Bradford added a goal at the 63rd minute to up the score to 4-0.
At that point Chicken had only seen 2 shots on target blocking both away with ease.
As the game wore on McTendie had the ball at his big three toed feet again with 84 minutes left. A pass up the right side led to an opportunity and it was buried by Ron Wince after a deflected save from the previous shot to give Paris a 5-0 lead that they wouldn’t relinquish.
Though he only saw 3 shots on target for the entire day Chicken was ecstatic to have his first clean sheet and was during his post game interview said, this is just the beginning I can’t wait for Cairo to come play us next. I’m going to get another clean sheet just you watch.

Chicken McTendie must have stolen one of the Colonel's secret spices be he was spicy!

Ahem... Poor joke aside.

Decent little article here. I'd say work on the structure more, this presented as a series of sentences loosely linked because of the way it was formatted. As for the content, this is good stuff, I'd definitely say to draw out future articles with more length to allow for the reader to grasp the detail. Do that and it will for sure get a higher grade.
