Position change for Van Grimbergen (again!)
#1
After spending time near Istanbul, Van Grimbergen disappointed his family, friends, and journalists who wanted to see him continue his great form after his near hat trick in the final minutes.
Following a long discussion with an outsider, Van Grimbergen finally decided to change positions, moving closer to defense in order to use his shooting skills to his advantage. We can't wait to see Van G, the big buddy, in his new position.

His career began at RC Wavre, in the French-speaking part of Belgium. He was a very average player, but with a good right foot. He wasn't a very effective striker, so when he made his professional debut, he was placed in defense, which was a very good decision.
His clumsiness quickly faded, and he gained a reputation as a “gentleman defender,” but he was still, in the words of his coach, “trop couillon” for the job, so he began playing as an attacking midfielder, which was his debut with Istanbul. The rest of the story belongs to the future, which, as usual, is uncertain, like the player.

Recently on Twitter, Mr. Romano has been spreading rumors of a career in China, with Shanghai. Let's see where he ends up, as several coaches seem to be interested in him!
