Although Accra didn't come out on top, it was a good academy season for the youngest Rashford. Great promise was shown in his top passing success rate and abundance of won tackles. Looking forward to the draft, there was of course a lot of interest at least based on the family name alone. Several teams reached out, and Rashford let them know that although he would love to play with his family, he was willing to forge his own path if he needed to. When the day finally came, Rashford was drafted 20th to Buenos Aires. The stint wouldn't be long as he would be quickly traded to Reykjavik, no doubt after some fierce petitioning by his brothers. It was great to be welcomed back into the family. Reykjavik would draft three others, including fellow Accra teammate and central defender Henry Andrews Jr., in order to give Mikko Rashford IV a little competition in the training grounds. Of course Reykjavik and North Shore were both known for their longstanding success, and with that comes a great level of expectations for their new players. Rashford IV knew that nepotism would get him nowhere from this point forward and he would have to put in the work.
