The offseason

I am tired. After just wrapping up the season in the amateur league and just falling short of the title after everything I have given. I am tired. Fortunately there is off season and I get some time to relax and unwind and prepare myself to be scouted and drafted in the pro league SSL. Not sure how they figured out to find me here in this amateur league, but I guess their scout really do their due diligence. I am excited for that and it is a whole new beginning of perhaps a career in the big league. Perhaps at some point I will even be allowed to play for the Dutch national team? That would be a dream come true. But first I have to focus on getting some rest, perhaps do a little training on the side to keep a steady fitness level, but also relax. Drink some cocktails and just do nothing at all for a few weeks. I am planning on going to Sicily and spend my time near the beach somewhere near Palermo. I have heard some good things about Mondello, but also Scopello. Perhaps I will rent a car and tour on the island for a bit. I have nothing planned anyway. Mount Etna is also worth a visit I have been told.

Anyway, the draft. Not sure what to expect there. Hopefully it will be a good one.
