The Asian "Messi"

A highly anticipated product of the little known Beijing Ducks academy, left footed winger Jiang "Soy Sauce" You has decided to part ways from the playing in China to seek the latter years of his academy life abroad at the prestigious SSL Academy in the hopes of moving to the big leagues and join one of the lucrative SSL franchises. As the Chinese Super League (CSL) has been in sharp decline in recent years with few prospects appearing to make it on the global scale, Jiang will be hoping that this gamble pays off.
Having made his professional debut for the Beijing Ducks at the age of 13 (a CSL record), Jiang has become a regular for the Beijing Ducks notching up 12 goals in 27 league appearances last season as the "Quackers" finished in 4th place in the Chinese domestic leagues.
The now 16 year old Jiang will be hoping that his season at the SSL Academy is as fruitful.
There's believed to be stiff competition in this season's SSL draft with notable competition for places down both the left and right wings of most SSL attacks. It is believed through a close source of Jiang's that his priority team will be the Shanghai Dragons as it is a team he grew up following.
Shanghai Dragons scouts have been spotted at certain games Jiang played in last year.
