So here we are, the first match of the season.
Hoping to be pickedin the starting 11 to show everyone how you have managed to get into the academy team of Port Royal.
Taking off your pirate hat and hanging up your eye patch you feel excited.
In the locker room with your teammates this is the moment all have been waiting for.
Once you are in the catacombs of the stadium you can already imagine the crowd roaring.
You hear the fans singing and shouting the names of you and your teammates. It is one minute before you get onto the field.
Once the clock strikes zero and you get on the field you are met by a half empty stadium where your parents and mates are looking on.
The fantasy of a full stadium was great however reality seems to be a bit different.
However you know that once you give a good show of yourself this season that fantasy can be real.
Will you be picked up by one of the pro teams? No one knows however you will give it your best shot.
As the whistle of the ref blows and the first ball is being played you know it in your heart.
This is what you have been working for and you will give it your best to, ultimately, become a champion in the SSL!
