Hey guys! I’m just making a quick post here for a little cash and to complete my Academy task. I’m dragonblaster713 (or at least on discord) and I’ve just created a new player to join the S23 class. I came here from the ISFL and have heard great things, so I’m excited to be here! I’m known as Matt Turk over there (forum and player name), hence my player name over here. I will say that American football (the real football) is my main sport. I’ve mainly created here since this league seemed really fun, has a great sim, and I’ve already got quite a few friends here (also because earning is easy lol). Paying a little homage to @Summerstood , and trying to indicate that ISFL is my main league, I gave my player a middle name “Oopsie Wrongsport”, which is meant to be a sort of nickname for him. I’m sorry for such a long player name, and I don’t like it too much myself either, but it’s the best I’ve got. All you really need to know is you can call me dragon, dragonblaster, Turk, or whatever as long as I know you’re addressing me lol.
When I made my player I tried to lean into the “Oopsie Wrongsport” vibe, so Turk’s hometown will be Accident, Missouri in this universe. I used the same height and weight my ISFL player has, and modeled the character to look somewhat like me. Unfortunately, I’m sure the character won’t share much resemblance, but at least the hair color will be the same! Huge shoutouts to @roquefort and @Summerstood for being really nice in USP, and roque for helping me out during the creation process. Another one to @Nol15736 and @Crunk for being familiar faces that helped draw me in. Throwing some out to @SG_Vesu and @norththegreatestshowman for being nice guys that gave me locker room invites (attention all GMs, I am still looking for more!). I’m sorry if I missed anyone, but everyone’s been great so far.
