First few weeks in Medellin
#1
After three games in the SSL, Tommaso Cappellari agreed to answer a few questions for us. We stopped him just outside of the Atletico Medellin training facilities and started right away with the questions you, yes YOU, sent us.
-"Is it true that you asked for a emotional support cat for the team?", after a quick laugh and a convincing meowing from his other Italian teammate, Montalto, he said "No, I didn't but that sounds like a great idea, I will bring it to the higher ups.".
-"How are you settling in so far? Has the language barrier been a problem so far?" "It wasn't too much of a problem, I know a bit of spanish from school and Riveras is teaching me some key sentences. To return the favour I'm teaching them how to gently tell the ref he made a mistake in italian" (he laughs, ed. note).
-"The last couple of games were quite difficult for you, with just one win in three games, what do you have to say about that?" "I think that it can only go better from now on, we are trying to find the best tactic and adjusting to the coach's playstyle. I want to assure all of our fans and say that soon they will see what we are capable of, we'll climb the league table very soon."
Cappellari's answers make us wonder, is his optimism a great sign? Do they have a plan? Will we see any signs of change already in the next match? We will tell you everything there is to know next week.

¡Medellin, nunca se rinde!

Fun article! The Q&A had some personality to it and engaged the reader. A little more substance/ "meat on the bones" and I believe it would be awarded top marks.
