It has been an amazing week in Medellin, two wins in two games really brought up the hopes of the fans. The team is currently standing at 9 points in 5 games, which puts them in first place drawn on points with two other teams: Istanbul F.K. and Port Royal FC. The fans couldn't help but notice how prolific the italian trio has proved to be. Some fans have already started to dress up as Mario and Luigi when going to games, showing their support to the boys. With a total of 6 goals and 3 assists among them, they are the proof that if a whole deparment speaking the same language on the pitch helps with their chemistry and ability to position correctly. After the game against Stockholm I.K. , Tommaso sat with the coach to answer some questions.
-"After a few problems in the first games, it seems like you finally found your rhythm. What are your thoughts on this? Have the objectives for this season changed?"
-"As you said, we were having some problems trying to find a way to put everyone in the condition to do their best, but now things have changed. We worked hard in training, worked on new schemes and studied very hard our opponents. The objective has never changed, we aim to win the league."
-"Throughout all the season you were able to hold just one cleansheet, is this stat going to change anytime soon?"
-"I don't care about these statistics. Football is a simple game, you just need to score one goal more than your opponent to win. If we win 1-0 or 4-3, I don't care. To me it's important to bring the three points home, the rest doesn't matter."
On September the 15th is going to take place at the Medellin Center the game against Istanbul F.K. and we will be here to report everything that happens in next week's paper.
