Interview with Lam (Week 2)
#1
We are lucky to be able to do an interview with the media-shy midfielder Nico Lam from PS Jakarta after week 2 of the academy league.

Thank you for taking time out of your free time to do an interview with us, how are you feeling living in another country?
''Its been fine, personally it really isn't that much of a difference beside the language, I am quite use to living in a bustling city, I would say Hong Kong is even more of a bustling city, and I am not much of a social person outside of training, so I don't really mind whats going on outside in the city.''

Is there a difference between training in a academy compare to what you are used to back home?
''Yes definitely, it is way more serious here and I can really focus on football, in my opinion the culture in Hong Kong don't really treat being an athlete as a legit career path, so theres not much support, and it is really hard to focus on playing football when you also have to juggle with your study.''

How do you feel about playing as a defensive midfielder?
''I don't really mind it, I will do what the team need me to, football is a team game afterall.''

The result have been varying a lot lately, how are you feeling about it?
''The season just started, so I am not too worry about it, we are simply going to work hard together as a team.''

Hope all goes well for Lam. More detail about the league would be nice.
