In In a week to remember for academy side Victoria Falls, Scott MacLeod is emerging as a key player for the side. The young Scot could be one to watch over the remaining Matchdays should he manage to stay in his current form.
In a 6-3 win against Sydney City at the start of the week, MacLeod delivered a clinical display, scoring twice and providing an assist and earning Player of the Match. This performance perhaps to make up for his horrid display against İstanbul F.K. in which he missed a clearance and scored an own goal in a match to forget.
Perhaps to distance himself more from that performance, days later MacLeod was at it again. This time turning provider, recording three assists and one goal against Atlético later in the week. MacLeod was once again rewarded Player of the Match for his efforts, something he is becoming no stranger to at this point, having now earned the award on 3 different occasions.
With two back to back Player of the Match performance and a combined 7 goal contributions over 2 games, time will tell if MacLeod can build to reach new heights or fall by the wayside like many before him.
