A quick touch base with Delvecchio and the Dragons
#1
With the season in full swing, it feels like the right time to check in on Tony Delvecchio and the Shanghai Dragons. They are no entering their 3rd official season within the SSl, and have started to find some consistency within the league (although, the last few matchdays have left us scratching our heads). Shanghai currently finds themselves 8th in the table currently 6 points behind CF Catalunya and 7 points behind sister expansion team CD Tenochtitlan. The season started off hot for the Dragons as they began the season 3-2-3, harkening back to last years tales of the Drawgons in some of their early season matches. This of course has slowed down in recent games, with their record tumbling to 4-3-8, but optimism abounds over in the Shanghai camp.

Meanwhile, Delvecchio has found themselves in a steady spot on the wing for the Dragons. Most recently, they scored a goal against Tokyo, breaking what seemed to be a very very long goaless or even assist streak. They were also knocked out of the game against SFV fairly early and the incident is still being reviewed by league officials for any fraudulent activity on behalf of the SFV side.
