Game day routines are fairly common among professional athletes. When it comes to playing the game at the highest level, you have to be meticulous and willing to do what other people won’t. That includes the discipline of making sure that you are prioritizing good rest the night before game days. Consistently staying hydrated throughout the days leading up to heading out on the pitch. And, it means that on every single match day, you put your right boot on after your left boot.

And that’s exactly the way that Pruney treats his game days since he’s gotten a chance to join his fellow teammates in Stockholm. So far, the transition from an amateur to a pro has been relatively easy for Pruney. He had a great foundation of good habits that would help him keep up the discipline required to play with the best. Now, the academy is just the first step and the first stop of many along the tour to the top of the football world. But it is also a time tested pathway to prove out that the routine that Pruney thinks he’s got is plenty good enough to help accelerate him to the next level.

So while the end of the academy season cracks on, Pruney will continue to make slight adjustments to his game days rituals until he finds that next edge that will propel him to one of the most impressive players in Simulation Soccer.
