Post game interview after match day 18 with Aimo
How is that you were on fire at the start of the season only to fall flat on your feet within the last 3 or 4 games you have played?
- Well, the only thing I have to say here is that we were quick to adapt to our new players coming into the team, including myself, and we had an advantage on that. Right now when the other teams have had their new players adapt to their new system and playstyle and team environment they are just doing it better. There were also some games where the scoring was very much inflated and did not give a proper look on how the team looked, only thing that we were able to see from those games was that the losing team was playing horribly plan and not according to instructions and so on. I could ramble about this for a quite some time but I dont think we have the time to do that
Would you say you are able to break 20 goal contributions this season with 4 games to go?
- I dont have those kinds of goals in mind for this season, right now it is only about building chemistry and improving to what my coaches need from me right now and in the future. The fact that I have been featured so many times on the scoring sheet that I have been so far is absolutely incredible for my first season here
On a scale from 1 through 10 how would you rate your rookie season here in Montréal?
- I have to give it a humble 6, there are so many wrongs I have done that I could have done a lot better in my opinion as well as from the coaching staffs point of view. There is still a lot to do but right now that is where I stand
