Wow!

Wow! While I expected to go pretty early in the Draft, just based on my TPE, I never expected to go first! This is in fact the first league that I’ve gone first overall, despite being around sim leagues for more than 5 years now. I’ve had a few top 5 selections, and that’s where I expecting things to fall today, but here we are.

So now I have the privilege, and the expectation to lead this class, and that’s a mantle I’m happy to take. There’s some huge pressure from all around me, some incredible users pushing me and each other to the max. I’m sure I won’t end up being the best in the class. I’m sure I won’t end up scoring the most goals, winning the most championships, and although I will try my best, I’m sure I won’t earn the most TPE. But what I can promise, and what Liffeyside has in front of them, is that I’ll be the best I can be, for as long as I can, and they will certainly get their money’s worth.

I hope we can have a long, long partnership together, and as I get to meet the rest of my draft influx, as well as my teammates, I have nothing but excitement for our future together. We’ve got a lot of work to do before we top the table, but it all starts today.

Thanks again to Liffeyside, my Stockholm teammates and management, and the amazing class that I got to be a part of. Seeing names that I’ve come to know and respect continue to be selected as we move further and further down the draft board, I’m in awe.
