Tight margins

In the third professional match for Bob Berendsen he would have to face off against North Shore United.

North Shore has had a good start to the season, however Bob was not that worried. His team had performed so well that he had the feeling he did not even need to play and they would probably still win the match.

This hubris almost costed him however, Bob had a bad game, he made mistakes, left opponents unmarked. Made runs he shouldn't and did not make runs he should've.

A game that Bob though would be in the bag, especially after being 2-0 up in the first 6 minutes.

Became an absolute slogfest where North Shore seemed to equalize every time Paris would get ahead.

In the final minutes of the game Paris still managed to get ahead and finally hold on to the league, but Bob was exhausted, both physically and mentally.

He had learned something today, at the top there is no place for underestimating, no time to sit back and rest. You need to contantly be vigilent and fight for your spot.

Because every other team is out to get where you are and any weakness is a chance for them to boot you off the mountain.
