ITLondinium-zone.com MD 5 recap

It's a busy week in the simulaton soccer league. Week three contains a serious amount of 5 matches for Inter London. We start the week off on tuesday with an away day against FC Kaapstad. So far the strongest opponent the London squad had to face. My name is Bas Steekpaas and I will take you - in short this time - through what happened in this match.

Ahead of the confrontation, Kaapstad had to their standards a pretty disappointing start of the season. After four matches they find themselves in 7th with a total of 4 points. London is the big surprise of the league so far, scoring 10 points out of the first four matches.

London kicks off but it's Kaapstad that immediately takes the initiative. After only 4 minutes it's Brooks who sends Adu deep with a brilliant pass. It looks like Adu is offside but he timed his run to perfection. With a powerful shot he stuns Gun Jr to score 1-0.

Kaapstad continues dominating the first half, creating plenty of opportunities, London is 30 minutes in still at zero shots. Not long later it's Kaapstad that strikes again, this time Adu gives the assist and Dohbra puts it behind the London keeper.

2-0 at halftime, Kaapstad heavily dominating, it's looking like a tough ask for Inter to turn this one around. Kurt Lightning takes over from Bad Wolf on the Kaapstad side, Arthur Cain subs in for Volkan.

Again, early in the half Kaapstad shows it's intentions. It's yet again Adu with a pin point pass to the center where he finds Ashworth to make it 3-0. Right before the hour mark, it's Moff who finds Brooks with a close range tap in for 4-0.

After the 4-0 FCK takes it easy. No big chances from either team until the final whistle. Kaapstad managed to produce 3.44 xG against London's 0.31. All in all it is a well deserved victory for a much stronger FC Kaapstad. Freddy Adu puts in a star performance, scoring a perfect 10.0 with a goal and two assists.

Tomorrow we have another tough match on the schedule against CS Rova Mpanjaka. Abbey will talk you all through the next two games. I will be back for the Friday game against North Shore United. Until then!
