With Roger Roger living in the balmy Mexican capital, snow in the city itself is extremely rare. Only when the right ingredients of weather phenomenon mix does the sky bring forth snow. It has only happened twice before in Mexico City (Tenochtitlan), in 1940 and 1967 and both of those were mere dustings. The tall mountains around the city get snow enough, sure, but the practice field where Roger Roger beefs up his skills doesn't see the flurries. However, that all changed! A whopping 7 inches of snow fell on the fields of CD Tenochtitlan this morning and as Roger Roger went out to greet the day, his gears seemed frozen stiff as he peered upon the first real hometown snow. Roger Roger and his teammates went out to the practice filed and practiced their slide tackling (and nefarious snowball fighting) to see if the snow assisted their slides! Roger Roger was able to make a snow droid as big as he was. The crew made a whole bunch of snowmen and practiced dribbling through them on their way to a goal.
It was such an amazing day in Mexico City! Just don't look at the piles of flaming cars and frozen bodies littered across the metropolitan landscape.
