Good afternoon and welcome all to round 9 of season 23 in the Simulation Soccer League Minor League! Today's fixture is that of AF Masques Sacrés against Inter London.
AF Masques Sacrés has won just one of their last 5 matches, Inter London is facing a similar record. Both teams are struggling for form heading into this match. The table also shows little difference between the two squads, Masques in 9th with 12 points versus London in 10th with 10 points. A win for either team will be a good step in the battle for placement in division 1 for next season as a win would propel Masques to 5th and for London, depending on the scoreline, could see them anywhere in fifth to seventh.
Masques kicks off this match and signs its name on the first opportunity of the match followed by a couple more in the following 10 minutes. All this pressure meant one thing, the London defense will have to crack. It takes until the 24th minute when McNeil on the left passes back the Chevalier who finds Luke Walker in the center with a great cross to head it into the net.
Just three minutes later, Munro doubled the score. Paya can't clear effectively and Warrick beats Kovács to the ball, heads it to Munro and he finishes the job with a well placed header past Stun Gun Jr.
The first half hour shows full control for the home team. They haven't allowed a single shot from the English squad.

The first half has seen 15 chances for Masques, of which 6 on target. London has created just one off-target opportunity. Let's see if the second half has a different face. O'Neill and Volkan sub on for Madueke and Cain.
A similar story unfolds in the second compared to the first one, with AF Masques Sacrés in full control of the match, not allowing London to come near their goal.
The next highlight takes us to the 74th minute. Karras with a free kick from the left side. Finds Warring at the far posts who delivers it perfectly to Mizukana who finds the back of the net with a nice half-volley.
No noteworthy moments take us to the final whistle.

Chris Warrick takes home the player of the match trophy, assisting two of the three goals today.
The losing streak in the league keeps on going for Inter London, which now stands at five. Next match is against Montréal, whom they've defeated 2-0 in the cup earlier in the season. Until then!
