Avoiding the Sophomore Slump
#1
Season 23 was Roger Roger's second season in the SSL Major League. With such a young team, Roger Roger is solidified as one of CDT's front strikers. In his first year, Roger Roger was only able to score 5 goals in 24 appearances all season. It was a relatively disappointing rookie year for one of the better scorers in the minor league while with Krung Thep. With a rookie average of 7.08 per match and not once being names MOTM, Roger Roger was trying to step up his game in year two. In year two this season, Roger Roger was able to score 11 goals in 20 appearances, more than doubling his previous total. Increasing his average match rating to 7.27, Roger Roger was named MOTM twice this go round. Also improving his completed pass % and crossing %, Roger Roger was just all around better this year than last. The hope is he continues his upwards trajectory with the team and continues to push the envelope of success. Not only is he improving, but all of the young players of Tenochtitlan are getting better, now finishing 3rd in league play this season. With more and more TPE coming their way in the next few years, the sky is the limit.

Hello my favorite mechanical innovation -- this article referenced statistics and had brief interaction with the data, but overall was a bit "stream of consciousness." Which is fine, but not something I'd award more than a 2/5. It scratched my itch for Roger Roger content, but won't win a Pulitzer.

2/5
