Well, this is my last chance to talk about Kaspars Kalinins this year, so lets review my SSL experience here in 2025!
Kalinins appeared here in August, on the 18th it looks like, after a nice dinner I would presume. It’s been 19 weeks since then, and I’ve gone from a measly 350TPE to a whopping 732, eagerly awaiting the ability to purchase next season’s TPE.
I got smoked out of the water in the Academy with Stockholm for quite a while, but got to play alongside some great players, and against many more. I must have impressed the expansion Liffeyside organizational management, as they selected my player as the top player in the S23 SSL Prospect Draft.
I was assigned to the Minor Leagues, to represent the organization with Rova, where the young team surged up the standings for a title battle that ended with the squad finishing 3rd overall, securing a spot for them in the top division next season, when the relegation format opens for the first(ish) time.
Off the court, Kalinins faced financial troubles, did sketchy sponsorships, got experimental cybernetic enhancements, and beat himself in a one legged race. It was certainly a year to remember, and things are only just getting started.
