Financial Review of Bob Berendsen
#1
As we reach the end of this fiscal year I thought it would be a good time to check up on my finances and make sure everything was in order. I have had a very lucrative season and can be happy to report that I had a tidy profit. Total money coming in this season reached 60,300,000.00, which is a massive jump from the 8,800,000.00 I made last season. Even though I spent 50,150,000.00 on various improvements, I still ended the year with a seasonal profit of 10,150,000.00. This brings my total bank balance up to 15,975,000.00.

Most of my earnings came from my writing, with articles bringing in a total of 31,300,000.00. My move into new areas also paid off well, as podcasts added 11,250,000.00 and videos brought in another 7,750,000.00. My regular job salary and a contract covered the remaining 10,000,000.00 of the total income.

I decided to spend a lot on my player development this season to set myself up for the future. I put 15,000,000.00 into traits and another 15,000,000.00 into my weakfoot. Changing my positions cost 12,500,000.00, while my regular training costs were kept to 7,650,000.00. While these were big costs, they are one-time investments that I won't have to pay for again.

Comparing this to Season 22 shows just how much the scale of things has changed. Last season was much smaller, with only 8,800,000.00 coming in and almost no spending. This season I made over five times that amount of money. Even with the huge increase in spending, my actual profit for the season still went up significantly.

Looking ahead, my finances are in a very strong position. Now that I have finished paying for the big upgrades like traits and weakfoot, I will be able to keep a much larger portion of my earnings as pure profit. As long as I keep up the current pace with my articles and videos, the total balance in the bank should grow very fast next season.
