Stockholm Week in Review
#1
Stockholm, Sweden

With week 4 of the Academy season over and done with, we look back at the two matches for Stockholm this week and how they got on.

Matchday 6 saw Stockholm take on Port Royal F.C., who are currently middle of the pack in the standings. Stockholm opened the scoring in the 37th minute from a corner, with Cody Maverick heading a Judas Malice cross across the outstretched keeper's hands. Port Royal responded in the second half with a goal from Alejandro Hunt in the 58th minute. Two poor giveaways from João Mendes in the midfield saw Vincent Haye tuck one home in the 70th minute and 85th minute, with the game ending 3-1 to Port Royal.

Matchday 7 saw last-place Istanbul facing off with Stockholm. This one was much more dominated by Stockholm, with the total shots being 12-1. The scoring opened in the 12th minute with a perfect through ball from Chris McZehrl to Jean-Claude, who was able to slide the left-footed shot into the net. Jean-Claude was able to get his brace 14 minutes later, after a wonderful cross from Judas Malice left the striker open for a free header. Stockholm was able to see out the 2-0 win quite comfortably.

Stockholm will look to gain some momentum with new Swedish prospect Anders Lidstrom set to make their debut.
