Hi, I'm Joseph Daniel Kakou.
I've been happy to be part of
for the Academy Season, but there's a twist : it was only one game remaining.
Thankfully, as we already secured the title, the coach gave me my chance for this last game against
who tried to reach second place.
The game started peacefully, with not that much troubles, and I got the chance to show my qualities as a Sweeper Keeper, distributing calmly and cleanly, and at times being at the start of dangerous occasions for the team.
But after half-time, as the game dragged along and we were not on a large score, started to get hope and put some pressure through counterattacks and corners, notably corners. But thanks to my awareness and great decision-making, I proved decisive in keeping my net empty and their hopes down. There was even this amazing chance when it was nearly a one-on-one and a combination of positionning, reflexes and good decision-making added to a nice deflection secured the clean sheet.
A great game and a 7.3 match note, let's hope It'll be enough to be drafted in a great team (same as our striker, Armero Staple) !
