Peach Toadstool is shaken gently from her deep sleep by her assistant Spore. “Come on your highness, I know that it has been quite a long journey, but I think that we will be landing in Delfino pretty soon” Peach shakes the grogginess out of her head as she smiles at Spore and does a big stretch. It was indeed a long trip, from Duékoué airport to the meeting point in London, then through the portal to the Mushroom Kingdom for a layover, then all the way to Delfino. However to her it was definitely worth it, as she had been needing the rest after her first season for Masques. She had been somewhat in the background in terms of performance throughout the season, but she just felt like that was the dues she had to pay.
“I just hope that this trip will go better than my last trip to Delfino” Peach comments as they are led through the airport to a waiting car.
“Oh as if we need reminding of THAT as we are here” Spore says, rolling his eyes a bit.
“Spore you were still young when that happened and I do not think you remember much about it, do not start with me!”
“Ahh umm of course your highness, forgive me aheh” Spore says a bit nervously
“Besides, I will give credit to Bowser for rarely trying the same plan twice, and there is no way he would start a crisis this time” She says as they get into the car.
“No offense your highness, but what makes you so sure?”
“Two things: one, it is Jr’s birthday, so he’ll be rather busy today at the very least. And two: the last thing Bowser needs right now is to cause an international incident on three fronts: the Mushroom Kingdom, Delfino, and Earth with the SSL wondering where I would have gone. He's already had to deal with the embarrassment of some of his subordinates getting rather rowdy at the last peace meeting we held, so I do believe he will be taking it easy for a while.”
“Wow that… no wonder you're so popular your highness, that is really well thought out” Spore smiles, looking a bit relieved.
“Also we will have Mario and Luigi here to accompany us. We are meeting up with them at the hotel. Luckily after that incident, Mario has been cleared of the charges that were against him. I think Mario will have plenty of questions about how I have been doing in the SSL, he's such a sweetheart”
“Alright thanks for letting me know. Guess I will go ahead and try to relax” Spore says as he stretches.
“That is all I ask of you”
Ok Wildlifemicro here with my first SSL PT in like, a season. Honestly the reason is just not having much in terms of ideas about what Peach could get up to in Duékoué. Also it is hard to write the name of the team I am on, and end up having to do a bit of copy and paste. Anyways, I am happy with how the season went for Masques and I am really looking forward to next season. See you all then, and I hope to see you on the pitch!
