After a rough introduction to the league last season, Turd Ferguson is ready to take Division 1 of the minors by storm! While Krung Thep may have been fortunate to stay in the top flight after last season’s performance, I think Turd and the gang are ready to turn some heads this season. Turd has been doing nothing but eating protein and pumping iron all offseason, working on things like improving his reflexes, aerial reach, and ability to intimidate opponents. He even hired a goalkeeper coach to give him some actual training since he got a bit tired of being yelled at by Calvin Ball. While Turd is near the top of his class in terms of TPE, it is still difficult being thrown into the fire as a starting goalkeeper, going against strikers who may have over 1000 TPE.
So Turd is trying to learn some new tricks to combat the superior talent he will be facing this season.
While I cannot reveal any of Turd’s special new techniques, I will say that his goalie coach is from an ancient and mysterious island deep in the ocean, where goalkeepers are forged in the fires of a giant volcano. So I am quite sure that Turd will have some new tricks up his sleeve once this season finally starts. And then when you add in some of the other talent Krung Thep has – Mazeed al-Kazmi, Matt Stro, and Diego Machado all come to mind here – and it is easy to see why Krung Thep has title aspirations this season. It is definitely going to be a grind, but I believe that Krung Thep has all the tools necessary to make a legitimate title push this season!
