We’re introducing some important updates to the Bounty system, effective immediately. These changes are designed to give you more freedom in what you create and more clarity in how it’s graded.

System Changes

We’ve officially removed all content categories from the submission process. That means:

You are no longer required to select from predefined types of content
You can now submit any kind of bounty work you believe is valuable
There is no limit to how much you can create and submit (with the exception of graphics)

We’ve also updated the submission process. You no longer need to use the bounty thread or form. Just post your media in its respective thread and it will be graded from there

Grading Scale Updates
We’ve also updated the grading scales for written media, video, and graphics. These scales offer a more consistent structure across formats and align better with both effort and outcome.

Written Media Grading Scale

Any written media found to be generated, in whole or in part, by AI will automatically receive a grade of 0/5 and will not be eligible for payment.

1/5 – $250,000
Numerous basic errors in grammar, spelling, or punctuation. Content is unclear, inconsistent, and lacks structure or meaningful development.

2/5 – $500,000
Some effort is visible, but issues remain with clarity, flow, or factual consistency. Structure is attempted but weak. Narrative or ideas are underdeveloped.

3/5 – $800,000
Generally clear and well-structured. Grammatically sound and communicates its message. May lack depth or stylistic polish, but functions effectively.

4/5 – $1,200,000
High-quality writing that is clear, engaging, and well-developed. Strong language control and solid structure. Only minor refinements are possible.

5/5 – $1,500,000
Flawless. Exceptional clarity, structure, and narrative execution. Every element is polished and impactful.

Any podcast submission found to be generated, in whole or in part, by artificial intelligence (AI) will not be eligible for payment.

Content Requirement: Podcasts must be directly related to the SSL to be eligible for payment.

Payments for eligible SSL podcasts will be calculated at a rate of $50,000 per minute. Up to four individuals can receive payment per podcast, with each recipient receiving the full eligible amount.

Minimum Length:
Podcasts must have a minimum length of 15 minutes to be eligible for payment.

Maximum Payment Length:
Payment will be capped at a maximum of 60 minutes (1 hour). Any content exceeding 60 minutes will still be paid as if it were 60 minutes long.

The bounties are announced every season.

What bounties are there?
Bounties are split into three groups; graphic, written and podcast tasks.

Graphic Bounties

Championship Banner	Once per season	A 300x900 (w x h) image depicting the championship team from the minor, major or SSL Cup from the previous season.	Submission: $800k, Winner: $1.5m
Player Graphics	4 per season	A graphic depicting a player in the SSL, either a player signature or a 300x900 (w x h) banner image for one of the banner series (see below).	Submission: $800k, (only banners) Winner: $1.5m
League Graphics	Once per week	A graphic covering anything league-related, including player spotlights, team strategies, statistical deep dives, league events, rule changes, or any other relevant topic.	Submission: $400k

Any graphics submission will receive the submission reward if it fulfills the requirements of the submission. Note that we will not accept any submissions that are created in its entirety using AI-tools. We do allow the use of some AI-generated assets if they have been processed by you. Graphics that have the "Winner" reward are tasks where one submission per season is chosen by the BoD to be added to the banner rotation on the front page of the forum. The user of a winning submission will receive the higher reward payout.

For the Player Graphics task, there are two types of graphics you can submit; one being the "regular" player graphics as you would see in signatures for a user, and the other being player graphics in one of two new banner series that we will add to the banner rotation. The new series are Rivals and Dynamic Duos. Examples of this are found in the banner rotation on the forum home page.

If you are uncertain about any player rivalries or dynamic duos, please ask the community for ideas!

The reward for any written submission is the minimum wordcount for the task multiplied by a grading factor. The grading of all submissions is conducted using a three tiered scale provided they fulfill the minimum requirements. The grades and factors are:

The reward for any video graphic submission is the minimum wordcount for the task multiplied by a grading factor. The grading of all submissions is conducted using a three tiered scale provided they fulfill the minimum requirements. The grades and factors are:

Good	Some editing or commentary, at least some effort expended toward storytelling/narrative or analysis, etc.	x2
Excellent	Editing/music and commentary are above par, exceeds expectations in storytelling or building a narrative, or expresses interesting/new ideas using stats or analysis.	x4

What are the limitations?
The main limitation are the recurrences of each task, for instance you may not submit more than one championship banner during a season. The second limitation is the total maximum payout for a single user during a season. Similar to how job pay have a maximum earning of 5 million (if you hold multiple jobs), bounties will also be maxed to $5 million per season. Bounties will also count towards the same max as job pay, so if you have a Tier 3 job earning you $3.5 million per season, you may only receive bounty rewards of at most $1.5 million during the same season.

For a "regular" user that does not hold any job, a season of bounties may look as follows:
You submit 2 player signatures that fulfill the requirements earning you $1.6 million (2 x $0.8m). You also submit 5 matchday recaps that are graded as OK earning you an additional $1.5 million (5 x $0.3m) and one season recap that is graded as Excellent earning you $2 million more. The total sum of the season earnings would be $5.1 million and as that surpasses the max, you will receive $5 million submitted to your bank account.

We do not limit the use of these bounties for the weekly Point Tasks, so you may claim a bounty graphic or bounty article as 6TPE using the same old procedure the league has had since its start.

The second limitation is the total maximum payout for a single user during a season. Similar to how job pay have a maximum earning of 5 million (if you hold multiple jobs), bounties will also be maxed to $5 million per season. Bounties will also count towards the same max as job pay, so if you have a Tier 3 job earning you $3.5 million per season, you may only receive bounty rewards of at most $1.5 million during the same season.

For a "regular" user that does not hold any job, a season of bounties may look as follows:
You submit 2 player signatures that fulfill the requirements earning you $1.6 million (2 x $0.8m). You also submit 5 matchday recaps that are graded as OK earning you an additional $1.5 million (5 x $0.3m) and one season recap that is graded as Excellent earning you $2 million more. The total sum of the season earnings would be $5.1 million and as that surpasses the max, you will receive $5 million submitted to your bank account.

Similar to how job pay have a maximum earning of 5 million (if you hold multiple jobs), bounties will also be maxed to $5 million per season. Bounties will also count towards the same max as job pay, so if you have a Tier 3 job earning you $3.5 million per season, you may only receive bounty rewards of at most $1.5 million during the same season.

For a "regular" user that does not hold any job, a season of bounties may look as follows:
You submit 2 player signatures that fulfill the requirements earning you $1.6 million (2 x $0.8m). You also submit 5 matchday recaps that are graded as OK earning you an additional $1.5 million (5 x $0.3m) and one season recap that is graded as Excellent earning you $2 million more. The total sum of the season earnings would be $5.1 million and as that surpasses the max, you will receive $5 million submitted to your bank account.

We do not limit the use of these bounties for the weekly Point Tasks, so you may claim a bounty graphic or bounty article as 6TPE using the same old procedure the league has had since its start.

How do I submit a bounty?
Whenever you have created a graphic or article that you want to submit for a bounty, first you will have to post it on the relevant subforum: Graphics or Articles.

Next you fill out THIS FORM selecting which bounty you want to submit for and link the forum post you created in the step above. Write a verification word in the form and post that as a reply to this announcement post and you have then completed a bounty submission!

/Commissioner Canadice on behalf of the entire BoD]]> Seasonal Bounties A seasonal bounty is a term we will use to define a specific task that any user can complete (even Academy players) that rewards the user with money at the time of completion and/or grading. The bounties are announced every season and although we are a bit late to the party this season, better late then never!

What bounties are there?
Bounties are split into two groups, graphic and written tasks. If we hear a larger request to open up the bounties for other forms of media (video or podcast) we might see an addition to the bounty list next season.

Graphic Bounties

Any graphics submission will receive the submission reward if it fulfills the requirements of the submission. Note that we will not accept any submissions that are created in its entirety using AI-tools. We do allow the use of some AI-generated assets if they have been processed by you. Graphics that have the "Winner" reward are tasks where one submission per season is chosen by the BoD to be added to the banner rotation on the front page of the forum. The user of a winning submission will receive the higher reward payout.

For the Player Graphics task, there are two types of graphics you can submit; one being the "regular" player graphics as you would see in signatures for a user, and the other being player graphics in one of two new banner series that we will add to the banner rotation. The new series are Rivals and Dynamic Duos.
