A Not-So-Deep-Dive at Homme's Istanbul Performance
#1
Well, the academy has certainly been an opening thrill for Joshua Homme III (Esquire Limited, everyones favorite lawyer!). His three matches to date certainly have not been his best, but as a growing player he has shown tons of promise for his future in the SSL. Certain things have stood out in his play thus far this season. One thing that really stands out is his defensive ability. His 4 blocks already this season are among the top wingbacks in the academy, as well as his 8 interceptions being top 5 in the academy, and 2nd at his wing back position (behind a legend player of course). His successful tackles at twelve is also top five in the class, and third in his wing back position. One thing that has overall lacked in his game has been his offense to date. So far, he has no goals and only one assist, has created 2 chances, and he still has zero shots to date. However, one thing that Homme has proved in his wingback game that he can be relied on to get the ball back, steal passes, and could overall develop in to a player that quickly develops in to a strong wing back in the game.
