Louis Ashworth allegedly rescued from kidnappers by SAS
#1
After allegedly being abducted by fellow academy prospect Badrick Blackwood V, Sydney City player Louis Ashworth has reportedly been rescued by the aerial branch of the British special forces, the SAS.

Surviving witnesses of Blackwood's crew reported a large explosion in the roof of the compound where Ashworth was being held, raining debris and plaster all over Louis and his kidnappers. As the militants made a run for it, a fighter jet appeared to emerge into the compound through the enclave and fired a second blast at the exit, rendering several of the gunmen dead or unconscious. The jet was reportedly etched with symbols of the UK and its special forces, and experts believe the mission to have been carried out by the SAS.

The jet then began to descend into the compound, immediately forcing the remaining gunmen, including Blackwood, to surrender. Two SAS combatants then cruised out of the jet down a rope over to Ashworth, untying him and helping him back onto the jet. On his way back up, the Scottish winger began to shout obscenities at Blackwood, reportedly calling him a "b***h crackhead" and claiming he would "do his mum again," before attempting to spit on him. A new face then emerged from the top of the jet, a masked man in an Istanbul FK shirt, who began to curse Blackwood in what appeared to be Serbian before hurling a bottle of Zaječarsko beer onto the Jamaican's head, with rather impressive aim.

As the jet reversed towards the enclave and prepared to leave, a third blast was fired, however this was aimed directly at Blackwood. The wing-back was reportedly blown off his feet and sent flying into the wall, where he banged his head before dropping motionless to the floor. A surviving Jamaican gunman reports seeing the masked Istanbul player from earlier in the firing seat of the jet when the blast took place.

Ashworth should now be available to play in Sydney's matchup against Adowa Accra, as is Blackwood for Port Royal, however details remain unknown regarding his sustained head injury and the impact from being pushed down the stairs.
