Fry doubles up
#1
Finally, after all this time, Fry has spent his TPE.  120 points in accordance with the coaches' wishes, 60 squandered on Fry's whims.

The coaches called for Dribbling, Crossing, and Anticipation to 18.  Done.

However, really the expected value here is not in those options.  Work Rate was updated to 16.  More work, more chances in the match.
Flair, First Touch updated to 11 and 13.  These minor boosts should improve performance.
Technique, Finishing both to 15.  These are the key points, being spot on for where Fry wants to be in the league.

That said, we were not expecting what we found from the first updated match.  Two goals, both on excellent through ball passes where Fry was early off the mark to receive the pass and easily put the ball into the back of the net.  Multiple instances of early anticipation where Fry intercepted or disrupted the enemy passing attempts.  Fry even found himself blocking crosses way back on the sideline near his own penalty area.  4-0 was a good result.

Now - did we go with more physical attributes?  No.  We're still at 18 agility, 16 balance, 14 strength.  We are still bad at heading the ball but, that's not the player we have built.  Overall, very happy with the first match back after blowing 180 TPE.

From suffering from a chronic illness of some sort to starting to become a crucial player for Catalunya, you've grown a lot. Hopefully you can put that crossing to good use and set me up a few more goals now too.
