And so endeth the suckage

Tlacaelel Tepoztli hasn't had a career of things going his way. One might argue his peak was back in Port Royal in the Academy, after which he was never as impactful again.

Just as he's starting to rise to the experience level that should be expected to begin really impacting the game, he sees both the major and minor clubs of his organization land in their respective second divisions.

So what happens? He doesn't even get to play his primary or secondary position anymore. Never mind the building toward being both a useful wing-back and a useful shadow striker, he's playing left wing for SfV this season.

And that went, well, averagely. Unremarkably.

Until all of a sudden, it went frighteningly well.

A player who might have so far been noteworthy for having the most interesting announcer pronunciations in the SSL is suddenly scoring at a psychotic pace.

2 goals against CABA in a 3-3 draw. Then 2 more against Romana in a 2-1 win. Then, in a 1-1 draw against Tokyo, he's again the goal scorer. Not just landing on the scoring summary, but scoring goals without which the team would have had 4 fewer points in the standings.

Maybe when it rains, it pours. And maybe it's all luck. But there's also the possibility that Tlacaelel Tepoztli has finally arrived.
