Ryan van Eyndhoven was born in Eindhoven, Netherlands, a city deeply rooted in football history. Growing up just a stone’s throw away from the Philips Stadion, home of PSV Eindhoven, he was destined to fall in love with football. His father, a PSV ultra, and his mother, a devoted supporter, nurtured his passion from a young age.
From the moment he could walk, Ryan was kicking a ball. His earliest memories involve playing in the streets outside his home, mimicking Neymar, whose posters covered his bedroom walls. Inspired by the Brazilian’s flair and creativity, he developed a love for dribbling and attacking play. At five, his parents enrolled him in VV Gestel, where he took his first steps into organized football.
Though not the most physically dominant, Ryan’s movement, first touch, and passing ability stood out. By ten, he had earned a place in PSV’s prestigious youth academy. The transition was a significant step, exposing him to elite coaching and competition. As a midfielder comfortable both on the wing and centrally, he used his agility and intelligence to outmaneuver opponents. His creative passing and vision made him a key asset, but concerns over his defensive contributions and decision-making hindered his progress.
Despite his potential, Ryan struggled to break into PSV’s senior squad. The intense competition and tactical expectations made it difficult for him to make an impact. Realizing he needed a fresh start, he made a bold decision—to seek opportunities abroad. At 17, he joined Sydney City in the SSL Academy, eager to refine his skills and prove himself.
Now, with his Dutch footballing education, relentless work ethic, and hunger to improve, Ryan is now set on making his mark. As he embarks on this new chapter, he is ready to showcase his talent and establish himself as a name to remember in world football.

Growing up in Salem, Indiana, Jared Scott stuck out like a sore thumb. While his classmates were shooting hoops in their driveways, he was the kid juggling a soccer ball in his backyard. He caught the soccer bug from his grandpa, an English transplant who played college ball back in the day and wouldn't shut up about Manchester United. Salem wasn't exactly a soccer hotbed, but Scott made it work, dominating the local youth league despite barely having enough kids to field a team some days.
At Salem High, Scott was that rare breed - the soccer star in basketball country. He put the school's soccer program on the map, leading them to their first sectional title while keeping his grades sharp. Butler University came calling, and even though some bigger schools were sniffing around, Scott felt right at home with Butler's setup in Indianapolis.
College was where Scott really found his groove. He wasn't going to win any footraces or muscle anyone off the ball, but man, could he read the game. He had this knack for ghosting into spaces defenders didn't even know existed. The stats backed it up too - he made All-Big East First Team his last two years, making defenders look silly with his movement off the ball.
Louisville City FC took a chance on him after college, and Scott didn't waste it. He might not look like your typical striker, but his brain works overtime on the field. He's got that sixth sense for where the ball's going to be, and his touch is silk - the kind of player that makes his teammates look good. His rookie season turned heads, proving you don't need to be built like a tank to make it as a pro striker.
What makes Scott different is how he sees the game. While other forwards are trying to outrun or outmuscle defenders, he's three steps ahead, finding those little pockets of space and making the smart play. Hours of practice in his backyard gave him the touch to make it count when it matters.
Scott's out here showing kids from places like Salem that you don't need to come from some fancy academy to make it in soccer. Sometimes all it takes is a ball, a backyard, and a dream. He's not just winning games - he's changing minds about where the next soccer star might come from.
APPROVED -Now I'm curious whether Louisville City FC is a real squad. Nicely done.

Bartholomew Aittokallio Lorequavius was born in Cologne, Germany. He was raised with his twin brother, Aartholomew Lorequavius basically by his mother his whole childhood. His father was always working away, travelling for months at a time. Then at the age of 14 the news was sprung that the family was moving to the United States of America, to Michigan specifically, where Bart's father would have a job that he would be home every night doing. It was a shock to Bart and his brother, Aart (Pronounced plainly as Art) but they settled in fast. They grew up speaking some English back in Germany so there wasn't a major language barrier. The only issue was that they had a struggle making friends. So they joined their High School's soccer team, and the rest is history. Never playing the sport before, starting at age 14 Bart was a natural. Aart was good too, but never persued it after high school. Bart went to college playing Soccer, then to junior teams. The next thing he knew he was getting talked about in the SSL Draft coming up which surprised Bart. He was happy playing for the Michigan Major Junior Soccer Team, as they were heading to the playoffs after placing first in their league. It was a rough grind, but Bart kept his mind on the game rather than the draft, and Michigan won their first championship that season in nearly 50 years. Then the Draft talks started, the rankings, and the interviews with teams that follow. Bart wasn't expected to go that high in the draft, 4th to 5th round, but to him just getting drafted would be a dream to him. And he was. In the 4th Round, 26th Overall, by the Buenos Aires. Season 19 Bart made his start with the, Athênai Football Club and the rest is history.

Pablo Kawasaki (August 1st, ?) is the SSL Academy Goalkeeper currently for Stockholm. Kawasaki was born in Zadar, Croatia from a Spanish Mother, and a Japanese Father. Kawasaki took into football right away in Zadar representing his home club of NK Zadar, but was not deterred by also delving into other sports at the same time. While also playing some Water Polo, and Handball, Kawasaki credits the other sports in helping of his development in football. In his youth years, Kawasaki was a defensive midfielder, only transitioning to becoming a goalkeeper at 13 years old, due to a horrific injury by the starting keeper during a warmup period. With the backup goalkeeper away on holiday, Kawasaki stepped into the role as a goalkeeper, and has not left the position since.
With his abilities as a midfielder, Kawasaki was regarded as a strong anticipator, constantly being credited with putting himself in the right position, at the right time. While transitioning to becoming a goalkeeper, he credits his vision to know that although he might not have the training as much as the other keepers, he has the potential to grow, and will put himself in the right spot to make a save.
Forced to make a decision between sports, Kawasaki chose football when an opportunity came to move to Zagreb to play for the Youth Academy for highly ranked Dinamo Zagreb. He credits learning his aspect of team play, and strong communication with leadership on his time with Zagreb. However, his urge to continue to develop, and grow has led himself to the SSL. Moving from the beaches of Croatia, to the saunas of Stockholm, Kawasaki has enjoyed finding a new style of play at Stockholm, as he looks to make his next step. Many teams in the Major League, and Minor League will have their eyes on the goalkeeper, as someone to develop for the future.
One interesting aspect to watch for in Kawasaki’s career will be in international play. Although he is born in Croatia, he has not solely declared himself to play for the country in international play. With parents representing the Spanish, and Japanese sides, he has the option of 3 very strong areas to start his international career. Kawasaki has stated that his focus at this time will be making the next steps and get settled at a club, before entertaining the national teams. It will be quite a story to see where Kawasaki will land next for this unique goalkeeper from Zadar.
APPROVED - love the Croatian-ness of Water Polo in his backstory.

Ashito Aoi was born in Matsuyama, Ehime Prefecture on July 3, 2XXX to Noriko Aoi a local (and rather famous) resto bar owner and Shinichi Aoi. Shinichi is a former footballer who played for various Asian teams but is a cult hero in the tiny city of Sabadell as it was he who played a prominent role in making the local club FC Sabadell win back-to-back promotions from the third to the top division of Spain and the famous Sabadell Copa Del Ray run which saw them beat heavyweights like Barcelona, Villareal and Sevilla.
Ashito made major local headlines for his decision to play football in a school-based environment till high school rather than the several J1 clubs that were lining up to invite him to their academies as he wanted to have in his words "An environment where everything is not handed over to me". A physical behemoth of more than 190 cm in height, Ashito primarily played as a striker till he was in middle school. He was a virtually unknown player till his third year in middle school. It was then under his coach's and his father's guidance he shifted to a left back. According to Ashito, that was a moment where he felt his entire footballing mindset changed entirely. He single-handedly led his middle school team to the Nationals semi-finals. Then he joined his high school in Aomori, the prestigious Aomori Municipal High School. Here he honed his skills further and was an integral part of their Emperor's Cup run this past year. For the people not in the know, Aomori Municipal High School became just the second high school to defeat professional football clubs in the past Emperor's Cup (FA Cup equivalent in Japan) where they reached the quarter-finals of the competition losing to the eventual winners.
This gave Ashito the national spotlight that he needed for scouts from prominent leagues to have a look at him. With this move of his to the SSL League, he is carrying the hopes of the entirety of Ehime on his back and there is an entire prefecture in Japan that is genuinely rooting for him and his footballing career.
APPROVED - may he keep those fans forever.

Takeda Izuru Takahashi was born in Kyto, Japan, to his very proud parents Suchin and Kenshi Takahashi. From a very young age, Takeda showed an aptitude for athletics and sports and his parents wondered which he would choose. He played baseball as well as soccer but by the time he was ten, Takeda had decided to devote himself to soccer.
He wasn't the flashiest player on the pitch, but all of his coaches praised his determination and willingness to adjust and adapt to what he was told. Truly a team player, Takeda was always harsh on himself and worked to improve and do whatever he could in order to get the team wins.
When the opportunity arose for Takeda to play for the SSL Academy, he knew it was a chance that he had to take if he ever wanted to make his dreams of playing professional soccer come true, but he also knew it meant he was going to be very far from home. He and his parents had many honest conversations about it and in the end, the Takahashi family decided that Takeda would indeed go.
Assigned to the Jakarta team, Takeda was apprehensive about what to expect from his new teammates and while not the most vocal person in the locker room, Takeda wanted to do his part. With Jakarta finally winning a game, he felt like things were possibly on the upswing for them and did his best to dedicate even more time to training and getting better. Everyone else had the same goals, to win and improve and he felt as though he had landed in a good place.
Sure, he missed home, missed some of the food that his mother used to cook but he was getting the chance to go pro someday, if he was willing to put in the work.
APPROVED - when you go pro, you get to fly mom around the world and order your personal chef around.

Damian DeSoto is the son of Jimi DeSoto, former ISFL pro, and the younger brother of Dustin “Dusty” DeSoto, former PBE pro. While Dusty playing a baseball was a small rebellion to Jimi’s wishes that his sons follow his footsteps in the gridiron, baseball is a classically American sport that Jimi could respect. However, soccer still holds a stigma with some people in America as a sport for fragile Europeans. This stigma mostly remains with older generations in the south. Because of this Damian had to convince his father repeatedly that he did not want to play football, baseball, or even basketball. Finally, Jimi relented, but because it took a while to convince him, Damian started at a later age than most kids. Although Damian originally wanted to play a more popular position, such as striker or winger, these spots were filled with kids who had been playing as early as they could, and Damian would be stuck riding the bench for a while until his skills grew. Because of this, Damian decided to choose the position with the most availability, center back. Although he initially did not think he would enjoy defense very much, just like his linebacker father and pitcher brother, the DeSoto’s love to keep teams from scoring. Damian quickly earned esteem and playing time, not initially because of his skill, which developed over time, but because he showed the highest passion and work ethic of anyone on the team. He was incredibly coachable and learned the game quickly. However, this did not immediately contribute to success on the field. In his first real games, Damian made a myriad of errors. Most commonly, he was too eager a tackler, and he even got sent off in his second game after accumulating two yellows. Outside of this, he did commit mental eras, such as playing more passes and giving the ball away. However, Damian did not let this discourage him, and he instead used his failures as motivation to work harder. Going into his second year of playing, he seemed a completely different player. He was now elite at his position, and by the end of the year he was one of the best young defenders in the country. This rapid improvement caught the interest of worldwide academies, and P.S. Jakarta ultimately signed him to their academy squad.

Aaron Ford BIO
Born in a small rural town just outside Dallas most would expect me to have become a football player or farmer but ever sense that trip to Germany I took when I was 7, I just fell in love.
I remember it like it was yesterday my family had been gifted a free vacation in the German alps by my fathers work and boy were we excited, when we arrived after the long flight we checked into an amazing ski resort and I instantly decided to go find friends. Down by the lobby was a kids park, To my surprise none of the kids were playing any sport I knew like baseball football or basketball. They were kicking a ball but it was the most amazing thing, it seemed as if everything just flowed so beautifully. When I went home I begged my parents to let me play at my school and they agreed. So my soccer career started at Rural Texas elementary. I practiced everyday kicking a ball around until I found the game just came to me so easy, I eventually made it into my high school varsity squad where I was looked at by over 15 colleges. My senior year was my breakout year tallying 15 goals and 10 assist in 30 matches while also tallying 9 goals in a playoff tournament breaking the Texas high school 4a record, our team fell short of the state tourney where I was injured after a cross breaking a bone in my ankle and losing every scholarship I had. I eventually accepted a youth academy offer with FC Bayern Munich after a training camp tryout a year later where I competed with none other than Jamal Musiala, we all know how that turned out. I made it onto the B team where Bambi was unfortunately the better man and I left after 4 seasons and became eligible for pro soccer and joined the SSL where I was eventually signed by FC Hollywood where I now play for FC Kaapstad.
APPROVED - take inspiration wherever you find it, and run with it.

Trick Johnson was born with a wish and a gift. The gift was his feet, he was magic on his feet. His wish was to be the world's greatest magician. Trick was performing magic tricks for his parents at the age of 6. He would check out as many books on magic as he could from the library, later on it was youtube. Trick’s parents wanted him to socialize better as magic just didn’t get people friends, so they put him in a youth soccer program. This is when Trick found he had a gift as he kept excelling and excelling being invited to clubs higher and higher up. Trick's passion was magic though. He noticed that Soccer was getting him more social exposure and making it easier for him to make friends; however magic was where his heart was. He tolerated soccer for a while at times asking to quit, asking to do other things but his talent was too great for him to be allowed to quit. Having a gift that isn’t your passion can be troubling, particularly when you are young and still trying to figure it out. Trick didn’t get it figured out until his father explained to him, “Your passion is magic, and your gift is how easily you dance on your feet. Do they have to be mutually exclusive? Why not make magic on the pitch with your feet, it may not be coin tricks but it's nonetheless describable as magic out there.” It clicked with Trick Johnson he was out there making magic happen. This is the mentality that Trick seared into his mind, everytime he was out on that pitch he wasn't playing soccer, he was making magic. Every dribble, touch, pass, or goal was simply magic. He could go on with a lucky coin doing magic with coins, cards, ropes, handkerchiefs, or a soccer ball; it didn't matter. He was able to fully throw himself into this magic, embrace it, express it. From then on his rise through the youth clubs allowed to harness this magic, and express it after every celebration.
Magic Trick, coin, card, or ball, simply magic.
APPROVED - I can't wait for his stage hypnotist arc.
