#1 Biography [Open to All Players not in regression]

Name : Jean-Claude Goddamn
Height : 77 Inches
Weight : 190 lbs
Position : ST/AM
Club : Cairo FC
Nationality : Belgian

Jean-Claude Goddamn was born on January 26, 2005 in Antwerp Belgium and raised in Ghent. His father, also named Jean-Claude, is a famous action movie star, although he wants nothing to do with the illegitimate son he fathered. His mother Katrina was left to raise here son alone and by all accounts she did an amazing job.

JCG(as he will be known from this point during the article) joined his hometown club KRC Gent as a football player when he was only five years old. He was labelled a future star and was singled out for extra coaching sessions to further develop his potential. JCG played for the club for nine years and moved to KAA Gent at the age of 14. It was here that he was spotted by a scout from France. After the scout reported back, club officials from Lyon met his mother and she accepted the offer to send a then fifteen year old JCG to France, encouraged by the fact that the training facilities would be better there.

JFC joined Lyon in 2020 and trained at the club’s local sports school for the next two years. During this time he continued to develop and hone his skills, although he was never really given the opportunity to play consistent minutes for the Lyon Academy team. Disappointed with his limited chances, he contacted a Regional Player Scout, who recommended that he sign with the SSL, a relatively new competition. He did just that and was fortunate that he was able to sign with the league and be eligible for the Season Nine player draft, where he was taken thirteenth overall, an absolute steal for Cairo FC who had been demoted from League 1 and were in need of a replacement Striker.

It remains to be seen how much of an impact that JCG will have in his first season with Cairo, but hopes are high and the club firmly believes that they have found a player that can truly help them achieve promotion back to League 1 within the next few seasons.

CODE

360

APPROVED

Bio for Muunokhoi Sarantsatsral

---

My life has been blessed by the stars and the open skies, and steered by the steppes and by city streets.

There are two kinds of people in Mongolia: those who live in one place - usually the capital - and those who keep to the old ways, nomads moving their animals, families, and children who aren't school age from place to place, to where the water and good grazing is. My family, we are nomads.

I was born under the open sky, outside our family's ger when we camped for some weeks at Tu-tzu-han-su-hai. If there is a middle of nowhere, it is not this. My birthplace is a fringe of nowhere, and that is its virtue. A family there, for however long, keeps its own company, and receives counsel from itself, from the wind and from the open skies. I return there each time my life changes.

We are a tall family. My brothers are less tall than I am, but heavier-set. We are all strong, and our faces are serious. If you were our neighbours, and did not treat us kindly, your people would probably have built a Great Wall of China too, as happened with our ancestors and their neighbours. Other ancestors conquered China.

My brothers conquer too. But in smaller battles. They were noted upon a visit to Karakoram, for their size and strength, and invited to demonstrate their strength in a wrestling match. They were good, very good. They were invited to go to Japan to learn wrestling in the Sumo style, as has happened to fierce Mongols going back decades.

I was too young to join them at first, but I travelled more independently as I grew, and sought their stories in places where cellphones reach the internet. In those travels, I played soccer, and grew tall. Growing pains are not a fine thing for running, and mine pains and growing were greater than most. I became a keeper to have to move less. At first, height and length was what helped me make saves; later, I grew some skills. My face never gave away what movement I would do.

And then, I moved to Japan, to be with my brothers. I will not tell of my failures at Sumo. Simply: my body was less able than theirs to add so much weight and strength. But my attempts taught me to be more nimble with the body I had, and when I applied this to soccer again, I found my body and mind would work in concert to be the Great Wall between attackers and goals.

My late teens in Japan were kind to me, though I missed the open skies of home and we did not have money to travel there. A team in Hokkaido recruited me, and we succeeded enough that this curious Mongolian giant was noticed farther away.

It was my honour to be drafted by Accra, and my privilege to receive word of it back in Tu-tzu-han-su-hai, with the counsel of my family - less one brother, still in Japan - and of the stars and winds of the steppes.

I remain a nomad, now ranging where planes rather than horses and motorcycles reach, to wherever soccer needs me, wherever it can teach me.

I will learn the new skies of new places, and come to understand the unfamiliar ways they give their counsel. I listen.

APPROVED

Name : Sirdsvaldis Miglasķēms
Height : 75 Inches
Weight : 210 lbs
Position : LM
Club : Cairo FC
Nationality : Latvian

Sirdsvaldis Miglasķēms was born in Latvia, some time in the Autumn. Noone really knows when or how it happened, some even think that Sirdsvaldis was a gift of gods to the world to provide a beautiful man like him to become and artist or a warrior. As he grew up in a breathtaking Latvian countryside, as a child he was thought to drive different farm vehicles and had a natural skill of being a leader to local animal herds. At the age of 9 when he already had become local scool teacher and your go-to veterinarian he took upon himself to find a place in life.

He first decided to try sports when he saw children playing volleyball and it intruged him so he spent all of his free time after work to learn everything about volleyball and basketball as those were the most popular local sports, however it never really cought on. After a while, on a tough winters day, it dawned on him to try our something called "hockey" - he spent months and years going to the local ice-skating hall and became pretty good to a point that a VHL (Victory Hockey League) scout arrived to say "Hey, have you ever thought about becoming a professional hockey player?" Sirdsvaldis didn't really say anything but got incredibly excited about the idea itself - to be a professional athlete.

Few years have passed and even though Sirdsvaldis is already a mainstay name, and VHL S87 MVP and a Continental cup champion of S83, he had started to look into other opportunties already as keeping himself occupied only by one activity has never really been his thing and after understanding that knitting and electrical engineering is not really great hobbies, football always seemed like a possible opportunity.

He decided to declare himself for the SSL Draft and even though he was excited to get a chance to experience something new, he was also worried that starting over in a new athletic endeavour would take a huge toll on his body and mind. However, with all that in mind, Sirdsvaldis has worked vigorously to learn new skills needed for being a star football player. For a VHL off-season he also headed back to his home town in Latvia to work on his footwork and vision to get ready for whatever comes at him in SSL.

APPROVED

Jules Pelletier was born in Lille, a city in the north of France. Lille is known for, among other things, football - the city's largest club, Lille OSC having won four French league titles throughout their existence. Naturally, Jules had a football at his feet from the moment he learned how to walk. Growing up, he played football every chance he had. During breaks between classes at school, he and his friends would run outside and play for as long as they could, often being late for their next class. In the winter, when it was too cold to quickly run outside and play, they played in the hallways, much to the teachers' dismay. At home, he would often play with his parents, or just kick the ball around by himself. One thing was clear - he loved football more than anything else, and he was getting better and better - often, when playing with his friends, he would play alone against 5 or 6 players in order to keep the teams somewhat balanced.

His family was not particularly well off. They weren't poor, per se, they had enough money to live, but not much more than that. This was the biggest obstacle to Jules' dream of becoming a professional footballer - any high level football academy would cost the family thousands of euros per year, which was not something they could come even close to affording. However, one day Jules was playing with his friends after school in a park after school. His dad was there too - it was the Pelletiers against 8 of Jules' friends. The teams, despite being 2v8, were well balanced - Jules' skill and his dad Frederic's size and strength advantage matched up quite evenly against the other team's sheer strength in numbers. At one point in the game, Jules had just taken the ball off of one of the opposing players and was making his way towards the goal. He dribbled past two defenders and had a decent opportunity to shoot when he saw his dad running through on the other side of the pitch. Hardly even having to think about it, he sent the ball right past another defender, straight to where his dad was going. Frederic picked it up perfectly and had an amazing opportunity to score - but the shot was saved by the opposing keeper! The ball was still in play, however, as it slipped out of the keeper's hands. There was a defender much closer to the ball, but Jules didn't care - he HAD to get that ball. He ran as fast as he could, stealing it out from under the opposing player and sending it into the top corner for a beautiful goal. Unbeknownst to him, though, someone was watching. After this happened, a man in a suit came up to Jules' father. As it turns out, he was the head of Lille's best football academy. He'd been out on a walk through the park and saw Jules playing. One conversation later - and Jules was enrolled in the academy, entirely for free. A talent like that could not go to waste, and this ensured that it would not.

Jules isn't the only athlete in the family - hell, he isn't even the only professional footballer. His older cousin Sebastien was actually drafted into the SSL - he was one of the players selected by Paris in their first ever draft. He played a few seasons in the league. Jules is also more distantly related to some Latvian hockey players over in the SHL, as Sebastien's mom is Latvian. Seeing his cousin be drafted into the SSL, Jules' goal was clear - to join him and get into the league himself.

APPROVED

Jerry was a simple man from Romania. He grew up watching soccer, and participated in it as a child back when he was around 10 years old. He wasn't a bad player, he understood the concept of putting the ball into the net, which made him an ok striker, but the problem was that his league (since it was meant for kids), never really enforced the offsides rule. Jerry knew that he just had to run as fast as he could, sneak past the defense and put the ball in the back of the net, and then his teammates would be happy, his coach would be happy, and he would be happy. His parents were unable to afford for him to participate in travel soccer, so that's about where his experience ends.

By the time that he got older, he had heard about a shortage of soccer players in Romania and the local team was taking pretty much anyone off the street to play for them. This gave Jerry an idea, he could play the game that he loved again AND get paid for it! It was perfect! He got there and tried out. The coach for the team saw how hard he could kick the ball and knew that he could be molded into a quality player, so he signed him up for the upcoming SSL draft while accepting him on to the team. A week later, Jerry starts to play in his first practice. 40 minutes into the practice, his coach calls him over, "Jerry, you got a hell of a kick, but you keep going offsides." Jerry looks his coach straight in the eye, and says "I keep doing whatnow?" The coach, realizing that he may have made a huge mistake, looks in horror as the SSL draft is playing on the radio, "Inter London selects Jerry Svichi, striker from Romania." Jerry didn't know what was happening, but excitedly shouted "That's me! Where do I go now coach?" And so the legend began...

CODE

336 words

APPROVED

My player grew in America not really knowing much about soccer until his teens. No one in his family ever watched or played and it was why he found out about it so late. One year the World Cup was going on and he decided to watch team USA. He really enjoyed watching it and even tho they did not do great he was really excited by the pace of the game and the short breaks. Then one day just started playing outside and then tried out for his high school team that was desperate for anyone to play. He joined the team not really even knowing what the rules were at first, and he was for sure a slow learner. People really hated the he had no idea was going on and started to think he was just dumb. He was learning though day by day. He slowly started to get a role onto the team getting playing time was the first step. Still not being a great impact, but he was starting to get the training he needed. Most importantly is that he was having fun playing not something he ever got from other sports finding them too boring. With all the action going on and with no breaks it really was the perfect match for him. Learning about it in the hot place of miami made a lot of the opponents he was going against hating having to run after him when he would push the pace. He loves to make defenders tired and push the pace as much as he can in order to get a goal or create one. Being the one running at all times when the team has the ball or he ends up with the ball. He can be a bull in a china shop but he is the best bull you will get.

APPROVED

Felix van Neuer was born in Utrecht in the Netherlands, and like many children there, he was kicking around a football in the summer and skating in the winters. While eventually it was decided that he was not nearly good enough of a skater to stick with that, he did enjoy that before specializing in the world’s most popular game. Being tall and lanky made it an obvious choice for his youth days to put him in net, and Van Neuer wasn’t opposed to it due to the fact that he really didn’t mind diving around and trying to make a save.

Of course, with specialization comes growth and further attention from teams and people who want a good young keeper to be a part of their program. Eventually, Felix was offered and accepted a place in FC Utrecht’s academy as they were the best team in his hometown. Of course, like many players, he worked his way up to the highest point that he was able to, featuring in Utrecht’s youth sides on many occasions. He was viewed as an up and coming goalkeeper who could likely play at the highest levels of the sport, and Utrecht was excited to have a kid from their own backyard generating that kind of buzz. The papers eventually linked Van Neuer to a handful of teams across Europe ranging from Southampton to Torino to Hertha Berlin.

Unfortunately, he was not meant for any of those teams when he dislocated his knee getting up after a save in practice. The scouts from outside of the Netherlands stopped coming to watch as he missed the next 4 months with rehab and trying to get back to a good position. Joining SSL Academy Blue is something that he is looking forward to, and also viewing as a chance to prove himself to get back to the highest levels in world football.

WC: 316

APPROVED

Gino Chouinard grew up in Chicoutimi, a small city in Quebec, Canada. Soccer is not very popular in Chicoutimi. People are cheering for the Saguenéens, a local junior hockey team. There is some local soccer teams affiliate to the municipal club, but soccer is clearly not the most popular sport. They are really proud of their junior team and it shows. People in Chicoutimi wear a lot of the team's merch and the passion for the team is very present.

Gino felt in love with soccer when he first watch a Montreal Impact game. He asked his parents to let him play soccer at the age of 5 years old. His parents, crazy hockey fans, were not that happy as they wanted their son to become a hockey player. Because they love Gino more than anything, they accepted. Gino played every single day of the week in his courtyard. His dad bought him a little soccer goal with some cones and a ladder. Gino was also always the best player on his team from th age of 5 to 9. He was one of the only player to actually play good soccer, because a lot of his teammates were only playing due to their parents and because hockey was over during the summer.

His favorite player, back then, was Patrice Bernier, a Quebecer and also one of the club's legend. He also got the chance to meet and talk to Patrice when the Impact did a tour on all the Quebec's territory. Gino was 9 years old back then. When he asked for an autograph, he told Patrice that one day, he will be a great player like him. Patrice told Gino something that changed everything for him. He told Gino that he will not only become a great player, but he will also become a better soccer player than him.

It was at this moment that Gino knew he will become a professionnal soccer player. At the age of 14, he went to Montreal after signing for the best youth academy of the country. He spent all his teenage years in Montreal until his 20th anniversary. On his last year at the academy, some SSL scouts watched a good amount of his games, as Gino's name was more popular day after day. He definitely was one of the best players in the youth league. On his 20th anniversary, he decided to spent it with his parents, hoping that he would have a chance to play in the SSL. And this day happened....

WC : 421

APPROVED

One of the all time greats of the beautiful game, Zlatan Ibrahimovic decided it was time to hang up his boots and bid farewell to the world of professional football. With his career behind him, Zlatan yearned for another mountain to conquer and sought a new challenge that would keep his passion for the sport.

Little did the world know that Zlatan had a secret plan up his sleeve. He sought anonymity, to venture into uncharted territories without the weight of his renowned name overshadowing his every move. Zlatan devised a cunning plan to don a disguise, he shaved his facial hair, got botox, and trimmed his long luscious locks of hair. Zlatan transformed into a younger alter-ego Zlatan Ibruhimovic. Armed with his vast experience and unparalleled skills, Zlatan Ibruhimovic set foot into the SSL ready to conquer new horizons.

The Simulation Soccer League will have no idea what had hit them. At the tryouts for the SSL academy teams, Zlatan was trying to hold back his skill and passion in an attempt to deceive scouts and managers from finding out his true identity. But with every dribble, pass, and shot, Zlatan Ibruhimovic demonstrated an unrivaled finesse and instinct, he was not able to bottle his true power. His fellow prospects, still unaware of his true identity, were captivated by the god that was Ibruhimovic. Word began to spread in the SSL community about this extraordinary player, an otherworldly force with a striking resemblance to the legendary Zlatan Ibrahimovic.

At media and press days, Zlatan would be relentlessly bombarded with questions in regards to his identity or his relation if any to the vocal and polarizing Zlatan Ibrahimovic, who has at the same time mysteriously gone MIA. Zlatan denied these accusations saying that comparing him to Ibrahimovic was foolish, as he was an old man, retired, and not even in the same skill level as the literal god on Earth Ibruhimovic. It would take a genius like Einstein, Hawking, or Ibrahimovic to see through the disguise that he had crafted.

Before leaving training camp Ibruhimovic had this godly exchange with reporters,
Reporter: “Who do you think will be drafted first overall in S11 of the SSL?”
Zlatan: “Only god knows.”
Reporter: “It’s difficult to ask him.”
Zlatan: “Well, he’s right in front of you.”
Reporter: “Does that mean you think you will be drafted first overall?”
Zlatan: “Let’s just say this, anyone who buys me, buys a Ferrari. If you buy a Ferrari, you drive on the highway and go full throttle.”

422 words (MS Word)

APPROVED

Location: Guiata Tower
Date: Before start of S1
Interviewer: Konrad Blazej
Interviewee: Emilliano-Yoichi Isagi

Blazej: Emilliano, thank you very much for accepting my call for the interview, and what a place you chose as well here in the scenic beauty of San Marino
Isagi: Its no sweat, the people here have been longing for something beautiful to come around, and I have to give my thanks as well for the council to allow for the meeting to be on the top of one of the three treasured towers of my homeland.

Blazej: What kind folks they are. Alright then, can you tell me about your orgins, because its more than unheard of for a player from San Marino to reach such a high level of football, let alone someone with your frankly unique background.

Isagi: I figured that this would be among the hot topics. I'll start with my background first. Simply put, my father came over here on a backpacker's trip across Europe, and he was curious about this small country I call home. I guess him too, since he fell in love with the people's hospitality and care. Hell, it was in ole Vincenzo's pizzaria where he met his amore, and my mother
Blazej: Awwww, talk about a foreign affair.
Isagi: The good kind, hehe. Anyways, I was born in the local hospital, raise in both Italian and Japanese, was a prideful brat and all was well as I played football for my local school. Then came the trip to Rimini.

Blazej: Ah yes, your youth club where you became a hotly touted prospect in the Italian scene.
Isagi: Yea yeah, and all because some fool scheduled the school to face thier youth squad. We lost.....................badly, but I don't know, something with my passion and vigor, their words, made them invite me for a trial to thier youth club. All I can say was that I was pissed at some of my teammates for such simple mistakes, and then if they goad me to pull some magic in that game, cue some magic passes and some timely long shots, resulting in some golasos. And I guess that went well since I got in. I think the rest was history from that part.

(The two would continue thier talk over the squad Isagi would be entering with, and how interested he was witht he change in scenery, heading to Japan for the first time in a long time.)

APPROVED (dunno about the spelling though)
