He's already been blessed with an absolutely incredible career that any player would be thrilled to have. He's won the SSL cup, he's won Division 2, and he has a very good chance to be a Division 1 champion by the end of his career. He has a good number of goals, has been voted to the Best XI more than half of his career, and has won the MVP award in Division 2. More than anything though, Pascal wants his legacy to be that of a player who always gave his all for his team, who always went above and beyond, and who no matter what, was someone his squad could rely on to help push them towards the victory. He wants to be a legend for his character as well as his play, and he thinks he's well on his way to that.

APPROVED

With the likes of David Brukspatron and Edwin van der Sloth getting called up from the youth squad, it was up to him to show how things are done in the midfield - and that he has done. All in all Buenos Aires' midfield has always been the strong point of the team, thanks to many star prospects and their immense work rate. Building the foundations of a prominent midfield was hard as hell, but he did it - and got to lift the league trophy as a captain running the midfield as well as the game.

123 words

APPROVED

I think that boat has sailed when it comes to statistical records like goals (Did have a 6 goal game though!) or assists, the first portion of his career he was a wingback/DM. When it comes to GM Prowess he’s not bad, but he’s no Sir Alex Ferguson or Mourinho or Guardiola but then again, other than those three, who is? I would like to think that when it comes down to it, if/when I ever leave the league (or the league leaves me.) people can look back and say Hugh Mann/Aenir was a good person. Someone who never was a problem for anybody (except on the field) Someone who was also fun to play/be part of a league with. For Hugh specifically he has already left a legacy that no one can take away from him. <s>The first Decapodian to make it to the league</s> The Most Human of any player that ever played!

I have 169 here! Tom Pedersen's player page

Tom Pedersen's Legacy.

A career is inching closer to an end. It has gone so fast. Unbelievable fast. Once a talent. It felt like yesterday. But now a seasoned veteran from the fighting pits of the SSL. Tom Pedersen wished to become the franchise leading player for Montreal United, and that is still his aim. Whenever Schwarzwälder doesn’t need him anymore he’ll return to Montreal and try to get records. The most important thing for Tom Pedersen besides playing for Montreal United is to get as many assists as possible. Tom really likes to assist. It hasn’t really been as many as once forthold, but there are still matches to get them in. And when the career is over Tom hopes everybody will remember him as a hard working and loyal left wingback with a nose for assists.

I never really thought I'd ever get to be at this point. For as long as I've been a part of this sport, I always thought that something would get in the way. Now that I'm here, I mean...what have I really left behind? As much as I would love to say my play is the reason, I would say it would be my voice. So many moments, memories, and well, mistakes, they will be something that can be remembered by many, by few, or maybe even by all. I hope that anyone who heard my voice will get to remember those. Whether it's all of them, or just one of them.

Career Task #8

Alone in the woods, Karl Schenkinger enjoys his free time with nature. He likes hiking, it brings peace and quiet to his mind, and it gives him an opportunity to reflect. As the birds sing in the early sunlight, Karl muses over his career. He's an established player, but is he a star? Has he achieved everything he wanted?

He is a good player, no doubt about that - but who really knows about him? In all the years, he hasn't come close to lifting a trophy, has not played in a final. Heck, he doubts most people outside of his team Schwarzwälder FV even know about him and the influence he has on the game.

Karl sighs. He's never wanted to be the one to score. He's never wanted to be the star offensive player. But to be recognized at least a bit? That would be nice.

He turns his gaze ahead. The path he's walking on is engulfed by shadows at the moment, but here and there sunlight starts falling through the roof the trees build with their branches and leafes. Maybe his career is a lot more connected to this forest than he thought. And maybe, just maybe, there is a sun-soaked clearing waits for him around the next corner.

APPROVED @Shnitzl - may there be trophies awaiting in that sun-soaked clearing.

So many great seasons are behind Furious Chicken, hopefully there are still quite a few to go. Going from a striker in his first 2 seasons, to a winger in the next few, to a winger/wingback right now. Going from his first ever season, a 8th place finish in D2 with Red Star Laos, where they went pointless, to eventually winning the Major League with Reykjavik United, Furious Chicken has definitely been quite a decent player in the SSL. While winning both the shield and the major league 2 time each the minor league and cup have so far not been achievable for Furious Chicken, maybe he will get those in his older playing days, but even if he does not, 2 major league titles is a great note in a league as strong as the SSL.

APPROVED @FuriousChicken - interesting to covet the minor league title even while thriving in the majors.
