#1 Biography [Open to All Players]
Gerd Klose grew up in Germany, to parents that were obviously major German Soccer fans. His father luckily had the last name of Klose which he took and was named after the second all time national scorer in Germany, Gerd Müller. Gerd Klose, though, is built a bit differently than both Gerd and Miroslav. While Gerd and Miroslav are 5’9 and 6’0 respectively, Gerd Klose is 6’3, towering over the other two. Same with weight, while Gerd Müller played, he was a respectable 163 pounds, and Miroslav Klose was a respectable 179 pounds, Gerd Klose is a deadly 191 pounds. What makes Gerd Klose, Gerd Klose you ask? Well, since he was a kid, just like most other kids in Frankfurt, soccer was a way of life. He grew up playing it throughout Grundschule and always felt he was destined to be a great striker for the German National team, I mean, how couldn’t he be, since he was named after their two most prolific scorers ever. Gerd Klose always had a knack for finding the back of the net, and it was always by any means necessary. People would watch this kid gliding down the pitch, the ball somehow finding his foot, and scorching past the goalkeeper, such a beautiful sight to behold. As he continued to age and sprout like a beanstalk, clubs started to take notice, and that is how Gerd Klose found eyes from the academy teams of the SSL on him. They noticed how Gerd Klose wasn’t playing soccer, but dancing around the pitch like no one could stop him. He was flowing through the defenses. He has been quite the sight to behold on the pitch. Gerd Klose has plans to continue to push the boundaries of what he is able to do on the pitch and how he can one day hope to live up to the play of Miroslav Klose and Gerd Müller.

P.J Prosper was born and raised in Fort Lauderdale, Florida where as a kid he'd spend a lot of time in sports. Prosper's first sport was track, being apart of an athletic family which had already birthed a pro being his father. P.J's father Parnach, was an Olympic track runner specialized in 4x1, and the 100 meter. P.J obviously inherited his speed from his Dad which led him to track early. P.J would start to do track and soccer when he was in the 4th grade, already having a knack of striking the ball and the footwork to hang with the academy kids attending his school. In the 7th grade P.J would have much success in track, but decide to focus full-time on soccer. He would join the local Inter Miami 13U academy team where he would go on to bring out his best. Winning multiple gold boot and player of the year awards on his academy team. P.J would watch soccer all day trying his best to recreate how his favorite players thrive in the big leagues. His favorite player as he got older and mature was Kylian Mbappe. In 2018, P.J watched the world cup in which the young Mbappe play amazing against the more experienced players, especially Argentina's Lionel Messi. Seeing Mbappe hold the world cup trophy while the iconic France world cup song played gave P.J more confidence than ever. P.J now worked even harder to be in a world cup position at such a young age like Mbappe. While P.J crushed his peers, played up and still exceeded his peers scouts started coming. P.J would be invited into the academy grounds of the Simulation Soccer League. Now at 16 years old P.J Prosper joins the SSL Academy squad looking to be up with the pro's next season. He's started off hot, but needs to be consistent.

The path to soccer for most kids seems to be pretty straight forward growing up in Europe. But not in the O'Leary household. His dad, Aidan, was a star Rugby footballer back in the 90's. After suffering a career ending ligament tear,  Aidan decided it was time to retire and focus on being a father. With his new born baby, he was excited to teach him how to be a man and hopefully when he was old enough, teach him everything there is to know about Rugby. At 7 years old, Sean began to practice with his father on their field in the back yard. He would wake up every Saturday morning ready to watch their team play on the tele. Rugby became a way of life for him. By the age of 10 years old, Sean was playing for a local youth team, where he would play for another 3 years. At such a young age, Sean learned to be a very physical presence on the field and the other kids had an extremely hard time matching his intensity. Maybe it was his passion, determination or just the idea of making his father proud. By the age of 14, Sean was introduced to soccer by one of his mates. Which he instantly fell in love with. He loved the speed and skill of the sport, but felt like the sport lacked physicality. He joked with his mate, that he could easily do what any of these guys do because of his rugby skills. Which most of it translated over, except the refined skill part. Sean was a naturally gifted athlete, but he had huge deficits in his game that experienced kids his age were able to take advantage of. The physicality of his game was not helping as the other kids just danced around him with the ball. From the age of 14-18 Sean made soccer his main sport and trained and practiced every day. His dream of becoming the most dominant physical presence on the pitch and helping his team win a championship was all he lived for.

Cormier has always had an intense love for sports. Ever since he was old enough to follow what was happening on screen, he was obsessed. It wasn't just soccer too. Being from France, it was his parent's favourite sport but the family spent a significant portion of his childhood in Canada where he grew to love hockey and american football as well.

Growing up in school, he would play for any and every team he was able to try out for. He even played volleyball and basketball, as well as individual sports like badminton. As he started to reach high school age, and wanted to take sports more seriously, he realized that he couldn't devote his time equally to all sports at a competitive level. He had to pick and choose which sports he played and when, and during the summer soccer won over all the rest. He tried out for the competitive team and quickly got told to show up to premiere league practice which was a division higher. He made that team out of his first camp and ever since it's been steady climb up the ranks and competitive leagues. He also had the chance to play for his highschool league, but those leagues tend to not be as competitive as other leagues in the area he grew up in.

Last year, Cormier was invited to try out for the college team at the college he had chosen to apply to and managed to get himself a partial scholarship out of it. Again, these leagues aren't as popular, funded, or competitive as some in the states like the NCAA, but it was still a step forward for Cormier and managing to stand out in this league would yet again put him on scouts lists for other leagues. And that's how we got to where we are today.

After an impressive season on his college team, Cormier got the call to partake in the SSL Academy where he hopes to showcase his abilities to all the scouts in the SSL. He's not far from his final goal of making a pro soccer league, and the SSL seems like a likely avenue to make that happen.

APPROVED @JR95, and good luck keeping Cormier's rise going.

Ali Dia - S15

On a clear Autumn day in 1996, Southampton manager Graeme Souness received word of a world-class Senegalese athlete that was available as a free agent. While rumors are a dime-a-dozen around the league, this particular one seemed trustworthy enough to take a chance on. Souness received a phone call from none other than the most recent Ballon d'Or winner George Weah. The alleged Weah told Souness that his cousin, Ali Dia, had spent time playing for Paris Saint-Germain and had appeared for his country in 13 matches, and that Souness should give him a chance. And when a Ballon d'Or winner tells you to give a player a chance, you give him a chance, nepotism or not. So Dia signed a one-month contract with Premier League's Southampton.
Dia immediately joined the team in training sessions, but was a long way from actually getting on the pitch. Until Southampton played Leeds United less than two weeks into Dia's contract. Southampton legend Matt Le Tissier was benched in the 32nd minute due to injury, forcing Souness to insert the con-man Ali Dia into the match in his stead. Dia played in 53 minutes of Premier League action until he was subbed back off in the 85th minute. After the game, Matt Le Tissier was quoted saying of Dia, "He ran around the pitch like Bambi on ice; it was very embarrassing to watch."
Ali Dia might not have been on most people's lists after that, but that doesn't mean he was left off lists altogether. As a matter of fact, he was slotted in the top position in lists for both The Times and ESPN. Unfortunately for Dia, those lists were titled "The 50 worst footballers" and "Ranking the 50 worst Premier League transfers of all time".
But now, Dia has found himself in the midst of potential glory once again: as a prospect in the Simulation Soccer League's S15 draft class.

Those who have met Alexandros Mograine will know him as the man who looks out of place, no matter how hard he tries to fit it always feels like there is something off about him. Santos Neymarinho grew up in the largest favela of Brazil known as Rocinha. Growing up in the slums, Neymarinho never had the opportunities as kids his age will have around the world. The main reason is because the poor kid had to live by himself ever since he was young. HIs father was murdered when Neymarinho was only 2 years old. This caused his mom to turn into prostitution in order to provide for the family. Since Neymarinho had no one growing up, he turned to petty crimes such as stealing from others. This gave him a bad name and no one wanted to associate with him. As a result, the poor kid was alone all the time. This could have also been a blessing in disguise as this alone time forced Santos to kick the ball and just play tricks with it. Since he had no one, he considered his worn out "football" as his best friend.  He would sleep with the ball, talk to it and do everything as it was the only thing that was by his side. This led him to have incredible close dribbling and flair at such a young age. One day, Neymarinho wanted to explore outside of the favelas and saw a group of kids playing a team match.  Neymarinho fell in love with the way they were playing and was staring at them through the fence. Fortunately for him, one of the kids got injured and a coach witnessed Neymarinho so focused on the game. So he told Neymarinho to come in and sub for the injured kid. Little did we know that this was Neymarinho's first step in stardom. Neymarinho was so thankful and immediately went to sub the injured kid. He started playing the game and was genuinely having fun. He noticed how fun it was to play the game as a team and started passing the ball to his teammates. His skills, his flair, passing and close dribbling were tiers above the rest, and a scout was able to notice this quickly. They quickly took Neymarinho under their wings and this is when everything changed for Santos. He went from a nobody to a somebody due to god's favor. His youth days allowed him to further improve his skills and the kid suddenly became the #1 prospect in the country. Fast forward to today, he is ready to play for an academy team and hopefully be drafted. Neymarinho has many dreams and he is ready to do anything to make them come true. This is the start of a new journey for the young Brazilian. Everyone needs to stay tuned because the kid is ready to breakout.

Spike Shaftwell was born in Spuzzum, British Columbia, Canada. Well technically Spike was raised in a small cabin deep out in the forest surrounding Spuzzum.  Spike never attended school, and never had electricity so you can imagine his surprise when he stumbled upon a soccer pitch while chasing his kitties through the bush. Spike was terrified his kitties were going to be eaten by the Samsquantch that roams the forests around his cabin and he couldn't imagine that thought. All of a sudden Spike noticed a weird glowing sensation coming from deep in the forest. As he walked closer and closer the glow got brighter and brighter. He stumbled out of the bush to witness the greatest scene of his life. 22 men running around kicking at round object. He sat and watched and instantly fell in love. Every night Spike would venture back to the strange location to watch this "game" and eventually was invited out when one team was a player short. He quickly took to the game and his incredible stamina from days of running through the forest played well in his favor. Soon enough Spike was the talk of the region, coaches from travelling teams stated approaching Spike with the opportunity to join a real team. Spike moved off to Vancouver to continue his soccer career and once again it all just seemed too easy for him. Spike is now looking forward to the opportunity to prove his worth in the SSL. He doesn't quite understand how hard it is supposed to be, and honestly like every other time he has stepped on to the pitch it will likely come easily to him. Watch out world Spike is coming to take over the Soccer world, and it definitely won't be pretty, but he is going to be able to afford nicer toys and food for his kitties and that is all he cares about.

Zyqwarndalethron Velstrazyn-Smith was born in Winnipeg but shortly after his birth they moved to Kelowna BC where he learned to play soccer in the Kick and Run Soccer at age 5. Now you might wonder why the name, well the simple explanation to that is that his parents were too lazy to find a name so they just asked chatgpt for a name….. Alright now that that question is out of the way we can begin. Like I already said Zyqwarndalethron started play at the age of 5 at the Kick and Run Soccer, his coach was very pleased with his performance at this event and asked Zyqwarndalethron’s parents if he wants to join the COYSA once he turns 7 since the coach saw potential in Zyqwarndalethron, his parents were interested right away and once he turned 7 put him into the COYSA. He spent 4 years in the COYSA where he was the best player there. He then moved up to play for the Westside Lakers U11 team, his first season was a disaster he unfortunately broke his foot in a collision with another player. He spent almost 3 months in a cast and then had to learn soccer from the start again, he did end up relearning but he wasn’t playing as well as he did before. But he still moved on to the U14 league where he met his now trainer Dexter, Dexter promised Zyqwarndalethron he’d help him get better…..and that did happen Zyqwarndalethron trained with Dexter everyday and eventually became one of the best players in the U14. He did so well that he got a call from the Kelowna United FC U17 team wanting him to join them.  During his time he still trained with his trainee Dexter, he eventually got so good that the Kelowna United had to kick him off the team since it was unfair to other players. Zyqwarndalethron took a 1 year break but continued to train with Dexter and now is ready to play in the SSL and show everyone his talent. Will he continue being this good idk we’ll have to watch and see ig.
