The Sydney Herald's interview after Sydney City's 6-3 defeat at the hands of bottom feeders Victoria Falls in the Academy League.
Q: "Well, that was anti-climatic against Victoria Falls. Some of your fans are starting to call into question the capability of this manager and the tactics being utilised, what do you think was the problem that lead your side to concede 6 goals against what should be on paper a walk in the park?"
Seth McNeil: "I don't accept the premise of your question. I think Victoria Falls is a tough team. We had a bad away game and that happens sometimes."
Q: "Do you think this will have severely affected your team morale considering your team were a win away from being in the top 2"
Seth McNeil: "We're still in the first half of the season, getting new players added to the team, still adjusting and feeling each other out. A loss hurts, sure, but it means there's room for improvement. I do think we need to take a look and figure out what kind of team we are before the next game though but I have 100% confidence in our manager to sort us out."
Q: "The manager of Victoria Falls has claimed that your team lack the mental strength to be competitive and even joked that maybe having a 12th man would help. Given the fact there were a few dubious calls including a disallowed goal for yourself, was the 12th man perhaps helping Victoria Falls?"
Seth McNeil: *laughs* "He said that did he? I don't know if having a 12th man would have helped us in that match. Looking forward to playing them at home and earning back some of those 6 goals against us."
Q: "Well, that's very optimistic. I'm sure if it's anything like this game, it will be another spectacle for the fans. Thank you for your time."
