Love the update! Especially the articles, I think they were awesome!
Unfortunately you can't decrease attributes during regular updates. This is only allowed by using a character re-roll. You are allowed 2 of these in total: One is a full player re-roll, where you can change all attributes of your player. This can be done once during your first 2 seasons after you get drafted. The second is the Rookie Redistribution, where you can reassign up to 100TPE during your either your academy or first season after being drafted. In your case, as you are a GK you can also use the Rookie Redistribution to change from a GK to an outfield player if you wish as well, reallocating all TPE in the process.
Let me know if you have any questions or if this is of concern and I can try to work something out.
I have made a note of the TPE you gained, so you should still be able to use that during your next update.
